Well Friday was another hot day with high humidity but I can see the end is near with just another day or so in Florida. I'm so looking forward to getting away from this weather and at least see my breathe again and on top of that I've picked up enough germs to give me a head and chest cold. Yuck I hate to have a cold when the weather is this hot and humid.
I started the day with my usual 6'ish roll out and had my routine cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric after washing down a handful of vitamins and supplements. I took a few minutes to spend with my Creator and to lift up those I know and love. I haven't heard anything from Paw Paw the last 24 hours or so but do know he was getting situated at the Evergreen Rehab Facility in Winchester, Va. I checked it out on line and it looks like a really nice place and he will get daily physical therapy on his knee and shoulder. He will get three meals a day and have medical attention as well plus he will be able to receive friends and family throughout the day as well as church members. Dee and Josie both live about equal distance away and they can rotate their visiting days to where someone will see him for the next 20 days or however long it takes him to get back on his feet, literally.
We left Seminole around 8:15 for the 50 miles or so ride to Brandon where it was grandparents day at Bell Shoals Baptist Academy where Annsley and Gabe attend school. They had a huge turnout with several hundred in attendance and then the kids from kindergarten to 5th grade put on a musical play for us titled a "road trip". It was awesome and the several hundred kids preformed admirably. This is a huge campus and it educates kids up through the 8th grade. The only draw back is the distance from Seminole with all of the morning traffic. I drove the cross town toll road which helped to eliminate much of the backup on the I-275 and I-4. After the program which ended near lunch time we met back at Bobby's and Katie house for a lunch of Chic' filet. It was close to 2 ish when we got back to Seminole. I read the rest of the afternoon until we got the Ross grand kids who ate supper with us and then spent the night with a sleep over. Nancy made tacos for them.
After the cleanup and baths I popped corn for them and they watched a movie. I headed into the other room for some Ray's baseball. It was close to 10 before I heard it all quiet in the living room as all of the kiddos were asleep. I too soon was headed for some horizontal lab, LATER
