Well we did get a front to move through the area with no rain but lots of cloud cover which actually dropped the temps a few degrees. I had the windows open for most of the day until the evening when we turned the a/c back on for the night. Nancy was gone for most of the day at her Friday Bible Study and then at GG's house waiting for Sears to deliver her new refrigerator. Seems the one she had is over 20 years old and not quite big enough for her. I don't why she needed a bigger one since she lives alone but it was her choice.
I stared the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out and then a few quiet moments to pray for our country, those who were needless killed in California by Islamic terrorist and those I know who need some special considerations. I'm hopeful GOD still has hope for us here in the USA as we have destroyed all of the principles and tenets set forth in his Word. I've never felt more disillusioned with mankind than now with this ideology set forth with the Muslims. Their idea that to kill the infidels which is what we are if we haven't been brainwashed by this religion is holy and just by their prophet. What kind of religion is that? What makes our potus so in favor of them along with the major media outlets. This is outrageous. You would think after so many innocents have been slaughtered, beheaded and imprisoned those who have the means in the media would be concerned, but no they love these animals. There is no doubt in my mine this administration is inept and wants to see us(USA) be weakened and a non influence in the world. Where has sanity gone as the insane are now governing us.
I had a little setback with the knee last night as I tried to do some stretching after my shower. Seems I may have triggered some muscles that weren't ready for that maneuver. It has really felt good the past couple days and I wasn't even noticing it until I headed to bed for some horizontal lab then it became very annoying with pain. I haven't used any ice for a couple days so I will be back on that regiment with ibuprofen again. Wow do I ever hate being limited in my activities. I was planning on returning to pickle ball on Monday but that is now on hold for another week, oh well.
I did get the outside Christmas lights up and a little work in the garden. Everything is looking good and I'm still watering twice a day by hand. I did get in a lot of reading time while Nancy was gone. I managed a little house work as well and stayed true to my decision to eat light and not as much. With just an apple for breakfast, a bowl of homemade 'tater soup for lunch and a handful of pecans with a glass of vino before a supper of a grilled Salmon fillet, steamed fresh broccoli and a salad. Hopefully I can reduce this spare tire while I'm laying around waiting for this knee to heal, LATER
