Well Sunday was an awesome day of worship first on line and then in person at our local Cornerstone Fellowship in Sparta and then again later in the evening with our home church in Seminole at S.R.B.C. However every day I worship my LORD to start the day to give thanks and to lift up several by name for comfort and for healing, all seem to be holding as of this post.
We went out to eat after church with our dear friends the Frankis Family to the Pines once again for the buffet but it didn't seem to be as tasty a last week for reason. I did get my fill of fried chicken and real taters but they didn't have banana pudding this week and maybe that is the reason as chocolate cake was there instead, oh well. We got our fill which held us the rest of the day and evening. We did stop at the Food Lion for a few items before heading back to the cabin. I settled into the Ray's game which was a blow out for the other team 9-2. Unbelievable, we play decent for two games and then let down completely against the same team. The Bucs also lost their preseason game so its not looking great for our teams in the area once again.
I finished up a Charles Martin book titled THE RIVER ENDS and it was a slobber knocker to say the least. Nancy had ordered it from the library, but she had already read it and I was out of books so I read it and its an interesting read, but a real sad ending which was expected as the story progressed. I watched a little preseason football games which really are useless in the over all scheme but it does let coaches see beginning players show off their skills. This will be a busy week for us as we entertain at the Frankis Place on Tuesday and have two small group meetings and then a trip to Hickory to see old family and friends on Thursday. I'm really looking forward to that trip, LATER
