Well Wednesday was another beautiful day until around 6'ish when it started to rain and then it rained up until I got ready for some horizontal lab. I mean at times it sounded like rocks pouring on the tin roof it rained that hard. The start of the day was beautiful with cool temps in the low 60's and blue skies over head with gentle breeze. We stayed around the cabin except for a hike across the top of the mountain of which we took the golf cart up the steep back road so as to not put any pressure on the blood clot which seems to be going away, if the swelling in the foot and ankle are indicator. They seem to be back to normal size.
I started the morning with my usual before 6 roll out to my cup of hot tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator to honor and give thanks for another day while lifting several up for comfort and healing. I'm off to see a new doctor this morning in Sparta with a follow up on the E.R. doctor's orders. I'm hoping I will not be on this med for long but I do believe I figured out how I got this clot. When I had all the back and leg issues in June with severe pain the chiropractor suggested that prednisone was the answer to the inflammation in the back and he was right; it did put out the fire after the second round of the drug which was a total of 18 days or so straight. I found out first time users of the drug were three times more likely to have a clot issue and dang if I didn't fit into that category as it was my first experience with prednisone, oh well. The back is better but now I'm contending with this clot and this high price drug.
Well I harvested more lettuces for the salad bowl and some cucumbers and blessed our neighbor Gerald with some cukes. He is back in the area and is a great neighbor as well. We are truly blessed to have him here and he is always ready to help or lend a hand. Nancy had clothes on the line in the bright sunshine which always seems comforting and down homey. I mixed up some grass and weed killer and sprayed the rocks and the driveway which seems to grow grass better than where I want it to grow. I did dig up some of those grasses and transplant them in the bare spots where the stumps used to be. I did some piddly honey do's for Nancy through out the day. We had a salmon filet for supper with her turnip casserole which is delicious to say the least.
We will be off to town this morning(Thur) for my 11 AM doctor's appointment then run some errands and then eat lunch out for my birthday meal to celebrate. Not much else going on as I'm resting a little with propping my leg up when I think of it. We have been having some raucous "kings on the corner" card games. Nancy usually wipes the floor with me but I'm getting a little better each time and did win a few games this week; but nothing compared to her play. The yards look so good after mowing and the smell of fresh mowed grass is so sweet . The wild flower beds are showing lots of new colors and the hummingbirds fly around all the time into the different plants.
We haven't watched the news for days as its depressing to think Americans are actually praising these radicals who want to destroy our culture and way of life. I'm totally fed up with both parties who condemn and obstruct our Potus Trump. All of those deep staters including the last potus should be hung for treason to send a message for the future crooks. I actually have friends and even some family who support all these who hate our duly elected potus. It just makes me ill to think of all who gave so much in the past only to have those who hate this country (except for our benefits) and this potus who was legally elected above all odds and is trying to right the corruption by the past folks in the gov't. It's despicable and criminal to say the least and the candidate they put forth is as corrupt and the last potus who is still dividing the nation and advocating violence against patriotic Americans. Only with the help of GOD will this nation survive and I pray daily He will shine his light on Trump and once again on this nation that has done everything with the help of the democrats and the corrupt MSM to take His influence and protection away from US(A), LATER
