Well Wednesday started out on the chilly side once again but as they day wore on it became very nice to be outside and especially on a hike to the top of the mountain. It was the first time we have been able to see the buildings in downtown Winston-Salem in many weeks due to the haze from off the mountain. What a beautiful clear day for a change. We had our small group at Cornerstone at 6 PM with 9 of us in attendance and once more we watched Jack Hibbs with his sermon about the end times prophecy and how the current culture here in America is fulfilling it. Evil has presented itself much like the days before Noah which Jesus spoke of, and how GOD took them out. Wake Up America and the world.
I started the day with my usual routines after a rollout around 6 to honor my LORD after posting this ramble. All seem as well as can be expected who I daily lift up for comfort and healing. I piddled around outside in the gardens after a lite breakfast of oatmeal, cinnamon and honey, pecans, banana and blue berries. That held me until around 3'ish when we had our big meal of the day that included Mexican rice and salad as we had our class at 6. I harvested bell peppers, jalapeno's, lettuces and kale to take with us today to our family and friends in Hickory as well as some blue berries.
We took a hike to the top of the mountain and I checked on Billy's garden patch to see if anything needed harvesting as they will be gone for a spell. The yellow squash was ready for pickings so after we got back from our hike I took the golf cart to the top and harvested a nice mess of yellow squash. His tomato's are plentiful but slow to ripening so I'll harvest a few this weekend. My tomato's are even slower than his ripening but now I'm seeing some rot for some reason in a few.
I did some reading during the afternoon both before we ate and afterwards. Ann and Frank came by and blessed us with a mess of green beans from their garden. My beans are still growing but not large enough to harvest yet. Well it was after 9 before we got back to the cabin and I hit the shower and then read until lights out at 10. The Rays lost the night before as they are playing in San Francisco and it a late game. I'm glad I didn't stay up and watch when I see where they lost 7-0, oh well, LATER
