Saturday Morning Nov 8th

Well Friday was another busy day that started with a before 6 rollout to my morning routines that begin with some quiet times to honor Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing. All seem to be holding with this post. I headed out on my bike to the Rec for an hour and half of pickle ball and worked up a sweat plus trying to get back into shape after a summer of eating too much while entertaining many at the cabin.

I came back and piddled around outside in the gardens and yards until lunch time then it was stay inside checking on the world news as well as whats happening with Israel and the terrorists in the middle east. Despite Hamas supposedly surrendering they are still killing not only the IDF but their own people and now we have a supporter of them elected by the idiots in NYC, the largest most prestigious city in the world. Unbelievable. I did manage to read on son Bobby's book for a couple hours during the heat of the afternoon.

I picked up neighbor Dan as we both were scheduled to attend a mens conference at SRBC where we attend when in Florida at 5 with dinner included which turned out to be a plate cleaner meal; delicious with a filet wrapped in bacon, baked tater with all the fixins', sauteed mushrooms and onions as well as a toss salad and then different pies for dessert. There were about a 150 men mostly from our church but I rekindled old friendships with a couple from the church we use to attend. The speaker is a life long friend of our executive pastor and has just retired for pastoring churches all over the USA and has now moved to Florida. Awesome speaker as well.

It was 8'ish before the conference was over and headed home to drop off Dan and then I hit the shower and was soon ready for some horizontal lab around 10'ish. This morning we head by to church at 8 for breakfast and then another couple hours in the morning before we have a large family supper with supposedly 14 coming for supper, should be a fun evening, LATER
