Well we finally got a little rain here in the valley which was greatly after being in the high heat and drought conditions. It was basically a stay at home day as we visited and made home made peach ice cream. We did a cook out with burgers, beans and chips and topped it off with ice cream. Sisters Pat and husband Keith as well as Josie and husband Wayne came . We sat around and told stories of our child hood days and about folks we know and have passed on.
We started the day with a 7'ish rollout to my abbreviated blog that did include some quiet times to honor my lord , Jesus, and give thanks for another day as well as lifted up several by name for comfort and healing. The temps reached the upper 90's and eventually it clouded up and blew in a nice rain.
Today we are heading up to W.Va. to visit some old home steads and look at new places and then spend the evening at home playing cards, LATER
