Well Tuesday started out with a before 6 rollout to my usual routines all except the dull nagging back and leg pain which is still quite obvious despite another treatment with the local chiropractor. It seems he thinks I should have another round of the pregnisone drug which I'm going to give it another try then its time for an MRI in Winston-Salem after all of the company leaves in about 2 weeks. I'm able to get about but I'm still limiting myself despite wanting to be active. I'm still doing the ice treatment as close to every hour on the hour and last night I tried to sleep without the muscle relaxer which was a bust to say the least, no sleep at all as the dull nagging pain would just not go away.
The weather was near perfect again but we did see some overcast and by close to suppertime it rained a good steady rain for nearly an hour or so. The grasses and gardens sure needed this despite me hand watering. The zucchini's are really setting fruit and loaded with blossoms as are the cucumbers. If all of these blooms produce I'll need to set up a veggie stand. I helped do some piddly non lifting jobs throughout the day as we put the upstairs bedroom ready for guest to arrive on Friday. We are looking forward to seeing Bobby and family and especially the grands. We are trying to have as much ready for the twins as possible as we open up the folding beds upstairs. Nancy is on the ball when it comes to having everything drop in ready. We also worked down in the basement getting it as much child proof for the bigger little kids who will be visiting as well through out next week.
I stopped and picked our "mountain moms" scripts from the pharmacy and dropped them off after my treatment on the way back to the cabin then headed home to enjoy the beautiful morning before we settled into a guacamole and salsa for our lunch. We ate light and then finished up the leftover smoked pulled pork from the weekend which was delicious. Since it rained so late in the afternoon we decided to just sit and play cards for the next couple hours before Nancy settled into her HGTV for the evening. I headed for the sack a little after 10'ish for a sleepless night. I'm going to try the muscle relaxer every other night, LATER
