Wednesday Morning Dec..11th

Well Tuesday was one of those days we were gone from the house most all day long that started around 8:15 in the morning and lasted until 9:30 in the evening with a couple hours at the house around 1-3 in the afternoon. It was another rather warm day with temps into the low 80's but there was plenty of sunshine.

I started the day awakening in the spare room after a night of snoring by Nancy that awakened me sometime around midnight. That is now becoming the norm so I may be moving in nightly to the spare bedroom. I was kind of in a funk for most of the day due to the lack of sleep and during the Christmas program in Tampa last evening I could barely keep my eyes open and then I had to drive back to Seminole. Maybe my age is catching up with me as I'm now usually ready for bed around 10.

Nancy had a root canal scheduled for 9 AM and it was close to 11:30 before we headed out for Seminole from the dentist. It was another major investment on that tooth which is now over 3 grand, oh well. We decided to shop at Aldi's on the way home and finally got back to the house close to one for some lunch. I headed out afterwards to hand water the gardens and everything seems to be doing great. I need to harvest lettuces today as well as some radishes. I think the phosphorus supplement has made a difference already in the tomato's, egg plant and the jalapeno pepper. The buds are staying on the plants which is a great sign whereas many were falling off before. I'll give the other veggies a dose today of the bone meal supplement.

We headed out for Brandon at 3'ish and made a Chick'filet stop on the way for supper with Katie, Anns and Gabe. Bobby had to fly out to Arizona for his job around 4 so we missed seeing him. We got there around 4:30 then chilled after eating for a few before heading down to Belle Shoals Church and school where both of them attend. That is another 30 plus minute drive especially with the evening traffic. The auditorium was without any a/c and with hundreds of parents and kids it was quite warm and made me sleepy. It was a cute program and since Annsley is now in middle school she was not in the program but Gabe did a great job with his part of singing and with animations. We did see their mother Jill and her family was in attendance. Brian the grand father was cordial but the grandmother Susan and aunt Kristin never gave us a look; such childish behavior.

We headed back up to Brandon to the new Culver's near Bobby and Katie's residence for ice cream with kids and there was Katie's brother and family. It was going on 9 before we finally left for Seminole and the traffic in that part of the Bay area was just unbelievable. It took us close to another hour to get home and I was ready for a shower and some horizontal lab, LATER

Some of Gabe's art work was on display by all the elementary kids and a few pics of him during the beach theme program.
