Well this is the last weekend in this month and did time ever just fly by as we get closer to heading north for the summer. The temps have been so very unusual this past week with cold mornings to start the week and then the 80's to end with some humidity coming back into the picture. I started the day with my usual 6'ish roll out to my routines that start with some quiet moments to honor my LORD, to give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name. All seem to be as well as can be expected. We have a new name to add to the list as a dear friend suffered a stress heart attack who also needs a hip replacement as she has been keeping and taking care of her cousin who has severe health issues. This constant care caused her to have the heart issues among many others as well but at least she survived. Nancy is taking a meal over next week as neighbors and friends will keep them in daily meals.
I headed out around 11'ish on my bike to the Rec for some two hours of pickle ball with a hand picked group of good players and got in a great workout. Since I didn't go early in the morning I piddled around outside in the gardens and yards hand watering as we need rain. The new shrubs and plants are blooming which is a good sign they have taken to our soil and the grasses in the bare spots are showing some color as well. Nancy's Bible study class was cancelled due to the leader being sick with a cold as she could hardly speak on the phone.
We took off a little before 5 for the 10 days of Prayer being offered at S.R.B.C. of which we've participated 3 days this past week praying for our many folks and many needs as well as confessing our iniquities and sins and just spending some quality time in a sacred setting praising GOD as we lead up to Easter and the risen son of man which gives us all a life after death. It's been a good experience despite our daily quiet times here at home to honor our LORD.
Well after supper I tuned into the March Madness basketball and actually watched a couple game where both number one seeds were beaten which is very unusual. Today Saturday we head over to Brandon to watch grandson Gabe play and son Bobby who coach's the baseball team. We then entertain our dear friends Steve and Sheri Nymark later in the evening for supper, LATER
