Well Thursday was another chilly start to the day but we did get some sunshine and temps may have reached the low 70's. It was a chilly ride out to the Rec. on my bike around 9 for a couple hours of pickle ball and the again last evening after the sun set it cooled off enough we had to wear a jacket to Ava's band concert at 7.
The day started early for me as I didn't get much sleep the night before as Nancy had her motoring running all night long. I eventually headed out for the spare bedroom to at least get some rest which is about all I got as sleep never comes quickly in a strange bed, oh well. I did get in some garden work during the afternoon and gave away lots of seedlings to neighbor and friend Dan for his grow boxes. I now have that area to transplant the last of my seedlings. I now have radishes big enough for the salad bowl and the egg plants have blooms as well. The garlic kernels have now started showing some green and I did transplant 3 of them to the garden and the roots were awesome. That's something I have never tried growing here in Florida but from what I've seen so far they love the soil and the temps.
The tomato's are full of blooms and since these were volunteers I have a feeling they will be the small fruit tomato's, oh well. We love them in salads. The dill and cilantro seedlings are maturing and I've moved them into larger pots and will soon put them in the ground. Both of those herbs I started from seeds that I harvested from mature plants. We had our big meal of the day around 1'ish due to Nancy's tummy issues since we were heading out around 6:30 for Ava's concert. She oven fried flounder and yellow rice accompanied it with some canned beets.
Keswick School used the huge auditorium at Starkey Road Baptist Church for this yearly event. I think this is their second or third year using this venue and its awesome as the upper bands and choral groups present this Christmas concert every year. It was a huge success and the concert lasted for nearly 2 hours. The music was beautiful to the ear; both with the symphony style and choral singing. Ava was a delight as she played the saxophone in her band group, especially being a first year student of the instrument.
Well the dem's are doing everything within their power to destroy this duly elected potus Trump. It's such a disgrace and a dark spot on our republic to think hatred is so deep for this non-politician who is exposing the corruption in the nation's capital. They have no basic except for partisan hatred to even think about impeachment but that is the only way they can possibly have a chance at defeating him in the next election; but I'm thinking it will only strengthen the resolve of those who love his policies and his brashness to take on the crooked dems and biased media and put America first. There is no leadership in the dem. party except a bunch of radical progressives who want socialism and to destroy our culture. They have so much corruption within and they are doing all of this to help cover the reports coming out about their attempted coup. The corrupt media is helping them as well. I pray that GOD will intervene and help Trump and us patriots who love our nation save it, LATER
