Well Tuesday will be a day that will go down in the annuals of history as a victory for the working men and women of this nation who love their GOD, families, country and constitution. We have help to elect a man who wants to make America Great Again. I had my worries when Trump showed he was human and the biased media made him out to be some monster but the real folks of the country chose between a criminal in the person of her and her corrupt crime family. Lets hope that family will go away for good.
I started the morning with my usual 6'ish roll out to my routines that had be downing a handful of Nutrilite vitamins and supplements washed down with a cup of green tea laced with turmeric while posting this ramble. Afterwards I spent some quiet moments with my Creator in thanksgiving and lifting up some folks who are in need of some special prayers. Paw Paw(dad) is still in the hospital and I did speak with him briefly in the evening. The doctors are doing some tests to determine why he has been losing blood and then hopefully help him with his enlarged prostrate. Please keep him in your thoughts for some much needed healing and comfort. There are several others as well and also for some healing for our nation from this election. There are those who hate needlessly and now hopefully will see the need to prosecute the corrupt and once again give folks the feeling they are too covered by the rules and laws that are equal to all and not just the elites. I think that has disturbed me more than anything and that is the injustice of this government and that only the masses have to obey the rules.
I headed out to the Rec for an hour or so of pickle ball and that I'm finally starting to get back shape. I came back and worked outside until lunch time in the garden. Most all of the seedlings look great and I've been watering them twice a day as well as the lawns. The lack of rain has really turned the grasses brown. We spoke with our "mountain mom" and they too are very dry and several counties are deemed to be in a drought condition. The temps here have been moderate with low humidity which makes it nice to be outside in the 80's. There is plenty of sunshine. Luckily I have my shallow well so I'm able to water my garden at will as well as the yards. I planted cabbage seedlings and a jalapeno' pepper plant and separated the egg plant which had two plants in one container as well as one of the cabbage seedlings had three plants. Hopefully they will make and give me a little extra cabbage down the road to give away. I'm still waiting on any seeds to break ground but its only been a couple of day. I've had seeds sprout almost overnight in the warm climate.
Well Amy. GG and Eliza Faye came for lunch. Eliza climbed up on my lap and wanted to watch an old cartoon we have been watching since she was a baby. She giggled and laughed and now introduces are commentary on the figures and what is happening. She is such a delight and now so grown up. She is passed the stage of diapers and wants to do ballerina when she turns three. Nancy took off with her mom after lunch to shop and we once again decided to do extra shoe boxes for the Samaritan Purse Christmas gifts for kids around the world. She shopped for that and its amazing how much you can pack in that small shoe box. What a fantastic idea to help others less fortunate and spread the love of Christ to kids.
Well we finished up the leftover flank steak along with some fresh asparagus for our supper. I've cut down on my portions and intake of breads and sugars and so far I've dropped a couple of pounds. It's hard to do but I even pushed away those delicious kettle chips for lunch today and substituted a pickle instead, yikes I know I'm serious about this weight loss. We settled in to the Fox news cable channel after the cleanup and I really never slept much for the night despite heading in to the bed room around 10'ish. Trump was winning big and I thought I would get up and read about the win but for some reason I was so keyed up with the thought he could win that I couldn't sleep. I also feared at the last moment some rigging would happen as it was taking so long for them to call the race.
I turned on the TV several times throughout the night to see if he had received the 16 votes needed to give him the win. I was beginning to worry that maybe somehow some corruption was taking place with the vote counting as it was well past 2 o'clock when I last watched the results. I read about his victory for the country this AM. The nation has voted the control of the congress and the white house to be in the jurisdiction of the republican party and now lets hope they will do what is best for this nation and once again make us the shinning city for all of humanity. We need to make America great again and not cater to the special interest, elites and definitely not allow our borders to be porous. It will take some time but this control of the government in all three branches is the first time in decades and lets hope with his leadership and some great folks who love the country we will be that nation again. The "chickens have come home to roost" for the Clinton Crime Family and now lets "drain the swamp" in D.C as well. May GOD Bless America, LATER
