Tuesday Morning..March 3rd

Well Monday was a bit chilly to start but the breeze and sunshine quickly warmed the outside air, yet the humidity stayed away for another day and I was able to spend the morning outside on the pickle ball court and then again in the garden until lunch time. It was an awesome winter day.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator in thanksgiving and lifting several up by name for healing and comfort during this time of need. At this point all are holding their own as I've heard nothing to the contrary. I got ready and headed out on my bike for two hours of pickle ball with most of it outside, except for an early set in the gym before the multitudes arrived to blanket the 3 courts with many waiting to get on. We actually lined another court outside and had 10 players there as well with a good workout. This sport is becoming too popular with all the snowbirds flocking to our gym (no pun intended). A stiff breeze came up and made the play outside challenging to say the least and after two hours I was finished.

I headed home to work in the gardens; hoeing, weeding and hand watering until lunch time. I trimmed some of the Jasmine vines on the front porch railing which grow like wild fire up the front of the house and I tried to weave some back into the railing. They give off such a beautiful smell when blooming but grow out of hand at times. Nancy had made a batch of neighbor and friend Carol's fav cookies as it was her birthday so she took them up for a visit. I made a guacamole while she was gone and had a ham wrap loaded with the gua while she was gone. I passed on the cookies as they too are a favorite of mine but I'm cutting out as much of the desserts, cookies and sweets as possible for awhile so as to bring my cholesterol back under 200; it was 230 for the first ever after Christmas due to all the cookies and desserts I consumed over the holidays which was too many.

I'm still dealing with the muscle pull under the shoulder blade so I'm using an ice pack as much as possible. I can not find my hand held ultrasound device but did find the box it came in, so it must be at the cabin, oh well. I'm thinking of investing in another one if this ache doesn't go away this week. I should rest the shoulder from pickle ball but the ache isn't enough to ruin the benefits of the pickle ball activity, oh well. We head over to Brandon after pickle ball this morning(tue) to spend the day helping with the "boys" and then go to Gabe ball game.

I didn't watch any of the FOX Cable as Mini-Mike was being presented in a town hall meeting. I find ALL of the dem's to be corrupt and so anti patriotic they turn me off, so I found a great You Tube series on Yurt Building by a young couple in Canada who did it all by themselves on a remote island. It was quite entertaining and a DIY event to build a home and now they will live there permanently. He is also an organic gardener and a vegan. That kept me busy until it was shower time and then some horizontal lab, LATER
