Sunday Morning May 2nd

Well the heat is back with temps in the low 90's for Gabe ball game in Brandon and maybe just a few degrees cooler in Pinellas County. The blue skies and bright sunshine with lots of humidity are prevalent once again which is typical for May. I'm really longing for some cooler temps in the mountains in about 21 days.

I started the day off on Saturday much the usual with a before 6 rollout to my cup of tea while I posted this ramble and then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting several up by name. All are holding a I make this post. I decided since the Rec was closed for a week I would head out there for some pickle ball play. We had a couple of our regulars but then a couple who aren't the best players but it was a good workout for an hour and a half. I came back and hand watered the gardens before we took off to Brandon for Gabe's game at 1PM. Gabe pitched the first 3 innings and did hold them to a tie into the 4th inning when he and his team mates started hitting the ball and they won by 5 runs. It was extremely hot and everyone shared the shade of the big oaks behind and between the fields.

We made a stop at Sam's Club for gas and food items before heading home. Nancy wanted to watch the Derby Race so we had a frozen pizza for our supper around 6:30. I checked on the Ray's and the Bolts and they both lost games yesterday at home. The traffic was crazy on both the interstate and the toll road going and coming home. I really thought many would be gone after Easter but it seems more are here than ever and they drive like they do up north, oh well.

I read for a couple hours after supper until bedtime around 10'ish, LATER
