Well Monday was another near perfect day with no rain and lots of sunshine. We actually could use a nice soaking rain as I hand watered some of the gardens and flower beds. It was basically a work day during the morning but some porch setting and reading during the afternoon. I started out the day with my before 6 roll out to my usual routines that start with some quiet moments with my LORD after posting this blog, giving thanks for another day and lifting several up for comfort and healing. All are holding as I make this post. I soon headed out around 7'ish for my solo hike to the top of the mountain finishing up my talk with GOD and hoping He will step in and save this nation from the corrupt politicians and one world order bunch who are trying to destroy US(A).
I harvested a nice mess of collard greens and got them ready for the pot which Nancy put on to cook for about 4-5 hours at a low heat. Wow where they every delicious for our supper along with some brats on the grill. We ate outside on the deck as it was just a gorgeous evening. I'm starting to get a few more tomato's each day and will soon have enough to give away for a change. We took a long morning hike before lunch and ran into some folks on top and I learned from our sweet lady window friend her golf cart would not start. So after lunch I took my battery charger up and hooked it to her cart and left it on all the rest of the day. Hopefully her cart will start. I'll check on her later today.
We took a ride out to the mail box after supper and then checked all of the flower beds until dusk pulling some weeds and dead heading many. We have lots of leaves already falling and wonder if thats a sign of an early fall although the temps are still somewhat hot in the direct sunshine. I'm still waiting for my beautiful Heavenly Blue morning glories to bloom. The vines are the best I've seen this year and some strong. The Ray's were off so I read the evening away until shower time and then headed in to read until horizontal time, around 10'ish, LATER
