Well Saturday was basically a do nothing day except visit our mountain mom Helen shortly after breakfast blessing her with some veggies and then again in the afternoon blessing the Luffman Family with a full meal as Kay recoup's from her near fatal accident a week ago with a horse that bolted with her hanging onto the rope. That drove her face first into the ground. She is very lucky she is in good a shape as she is with broken facial bones, 3 cracked vertebra, busted ear drum, brain bleed and severe contusions and bruises. It will be a while before she is back to her hard working self.
I started the day with my usual 6'ish rollout to the pitch black morning except for the moon shining brightly. The temps were awesome to start with but eventually warmed back up to a/c status by the afternoon. I did my usual routines after posting this ramble with some quiet time to lift up several but starting with my nephew John who is still not out of the woods with this virus and then for Ben on top of the mountain who is having severe issues with his blood cancer and of course Kay as she mends. The fiasco in Afghanistan is the result of a complete failure of leadership with an installed potus instead of the elected one Trump, who made an attempt to keep the terrorists in check and keep the world safe. Instead we have a bumbling idiot and his minions who are just as incompetent exposing the USA to the evil ones who chant death to America. I hope I'm wrong but I think this virus and this failed act of leaving Afghanistan is a conspiracy to help destroy US(A).
I got in my non stop solo hike to the top of the mountain just as Nancy was rolling out of bed around 7:30. I had my daily talk with my Creator and Lord during the hike which is becoming such a looking forward conversation to ask HIM for intervention into all thats going on in this HIS created world. We need His presence once again in our nation if we are to survive these who want to destroy US(A) from within and now from abroad. I just do not understand why these hate America folks have even a voice in the gov't but they sure do and it becoming more evident daily. We GOD loving patriots better wake up before we are over run with domestic and foreign terrorists.
Friend Steve Nymark came by for supper after his two day trip from Seminole. He will work on his land getting the motor coach/trailer park ready for his family later in October. We fed him some of basically the same as what we took to the Luffman's which was baked ham, tater salad and broccoli. We had a nice visit with him and sent him home with a sack of ham, salad and tomato's. He will be here for two weeks working on his place and I'm sure we will have many suppers togethers. Today is corporate worship day at Cornerstone and then again in the evening a benefit supper and concert for one of our worshippers. Nancy made a carrot cake to be auctioned off so I'll bid on it as its one of my favorite desserts.
We tuned into the Ray's game and they won again in Baltimore after being behind for most of the game. There is a huge hurricane about to hit the gulf coast and those in harms way will need some assistance afterwards. I'm sure it will affect us in in the mountains later this week. We actually could use some rain but not the storm, LATER..GOD BLESS those in harms way from the storm and those in Afghanistan.
