Monday (Memorial Day)

Well Sunday was another busy day that started with our son Bobby leaving early to head back with their dog, Sugar to drop her off at his house then meet us at Element Church in Tampa. We got Annsley and Gabe up after they slept soundly for about 10 hours straight, wow were they ever conched out from all the activity with their cousins on Friday and Saturday. We slept rather well ourselves from our activity monitoring them.

We headed out around 9'ish after feeding them breakfast and getting them dressed for church. We picked up neighbor Dan as he rode with us to church. There was a small crowd due to the holiday weekend with many regulars away but we did see a few new faces. The praise music and message was awesome and we were saddened to think we won't see some of these folks until next November. We have really got to know these young folks and hope the church sees the closing of this chapter in their history as we seek some property and move out of the warehouse. The cost is very high to rent this building whereas the purchasing of property and have a mortgage would help with our financial costs. Some of the elders have investigated a property close to our present location and if it's GOD'S will it will happen.

We said good-bye's and shed a few tears along with lots of hugs as we headed out for home with a couple stops on the way at Wal-Mart and then at Sam's Club. We are having one more family supper today(Monday) as Arianne and Errol came in from Miami for the week end so I will grille marinated chicken breasts and others will pull the rest of the meal. After getting back from Tampa we had a bite to eat for lunch then headed over to GG's to visit for a couple hours with Arianne and Errol. I managed to watch most of the Ray's game and they came back for a sweep of the Red Sox despite a bench clearing episode.

We headed out around 5'ish as we had plans for our house church gang to meet at the Bone Fish Grille for supper in Largo, yeow was that ever some fine dining and then afterwards we headed back to Dan and Carol's for Sequence and Golf. Well the gals won again in the best 3 out of 5 games and Dan won the game of Golf. We headed out for home after 9'oclock to lightning and thunder in the distance. We did get a torrential downpour around 2 PM that lasted a good 30 minutes. We had a river running down the street in front of the house then the sun came out and you would never know it had rained.

Well we are getting antsy about our up and coming trip to the cabin. We will start packing after today. It looks as if Bobby will try staying in the house here in Seminole as his marriage is on the rocks. He has taken another job in Tampa and while the daily commute will be rather long at least he will have a place to bring the kids on the weekends when he gets them. We are truly saddened beyond words of this situation but life must go on despite the valley's, LATER

I want to say Thanks to all those veterans who served before, with and after me in defense of our great nation. My prayer is for honest, just and loyal leadership for those in charge to honor our GOD, our nation and our way of life. I see very little of that with our present leadership and administration.
