Monday Morning Sept 23rd

Well Sunday was a great day of worship both on line at Cornerstone Chapel and then a great message from our local pastor at Cornerstone Fellowship in Sparta on WHAT IS TRUTH; of course that is what JESUS is and the WORD. That is exactly whats has been missing in our culture today and why we are in the mess we are in today with corrupt politicians and their administrations and its being promotes by the bias MSM and even now many churches who are suppose to preach the Truth. America is on a downward spiral if we don't get back to teaching and living the Truth and honoring it. I'll get off my soapbox.

I started the day with my usual 6'ish rollout and my routines that begin with some quiet time to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing. All seem to be holding with this post. I headed out to stretch on the back porch before heading around the perimeter to get in some daily exercise. I do at least a mile on the walk which is up and down the yards and I do get the respirations up. Its not as tough as hiking to the top of the mountain without stopping but I get as much exercise with the shorten up's and downs as I would with the long up to the top and then a long downward decline, plus I get to enjoy the beauty of my flower gardens while determining what chores I want to accomplish for the day.

I ate lite for breakfast with some of the last of the blueberries on the bushes(I picked right) along with a banana and some pecans as I knew we were eating at the Pizzeria which has a delicious lunch special. We met up with the Frankis Family there and enjoyed the fresh garden salad and our own personal pan pie. Steve and Sheri blessed us all with the lunch which was awesome and filling. I skipped any supper except for a few chips and salsa while we played cards in the early evening. I did vegetate on the couch with the NFL for a couple hours before the Nymark's came at 4:30. From then on it was card playing and the guys won 2 hand, knee and foot games and then 2 straight Euchre games; one game was so bad the girls quit after 3 rounds and the last game we came from behind to win big, oh well. It was definitely better than the day before when the girls beat us like a red headed step child.

They left around 9'ish then it was shower time and some reading for me before lights out at 10'ish. We did see the deer in the back yard around dusk as they are looking for a way to eat more of my upper garden patch. I've put more chicken wire around where they reach under the fence to eat off my few remaining plants, LATER
