Well Saturday saw us with lower temps to start the day somewhere around the middle to low 60's which didn't last long but did make it nice for a change so I opened the windows until late evening. I did my first major exercise with a half mile or so walk to the library for a couple new reads. The knee had a set back Friday night but actually did quite well today as I wore my brace and gave it a dose of pure magnesium oil. I read the benefits of this solution and it enters the body through your skin and supposedly helps with all kinds of maladies; one being pain or muscle injuries. I think its also a benefit to folks who have arthritis. My neighbor told me about and actually bought me this spray bottle while we were in California.
After our usual morning routines of a few quiet moments and the posting of this ramble we got ready for Amy who dropped Eliza Faye off around 9 as we watched her while they Christmas shopped. Ave and Sam where at church with pastor's pals where they made gifts to be given to the shut ins and had a pancake breakfast. We had such a fun time with little LeLe(Eliza) as we call her. She is so smart and perceptive it amazes me for such a small child. She now loves to sing the carols associated with Christmas especially with the ornaments and nativity scenes. I love the way she tells you right up front what she wants and never whines for something. Now she can throw a fit when she doesn't get her way and does her share of time out on a chair but never with us. They came around noon or a little after and picked her up.
After they left around 1'ish we settled into relaxing, reading and I watched a little college football until it was time to head up to the Botbyl's house which is about three doors up. Nancy prepared twice baked 'taters with all the fixin's and we celebrated Dan's 61st birthday along with the Tracy's. We had grilled filet's, salads, cauliflower casserole and lots of sliced cheeses with our vino before the main course while sitting out on their patio. It was really nice outside with a gentle breeze and no humidity. After eating we played a word game called Quiddler and then a card game called Golf. We had a grand time and it was after 9 before we headed home.
Today we will attend Indian Rocks Church where both of our kids attended school. They have a mega fellowship and the contemporary service is at 9 so we will ride with the Botbyl's. Well that was about it for the day as it was nearly 11 before hitting the sack, LATER
