Tuesday

Well Monday was once again a rather nice day with some high clouds which kept the temps at a nice middle 70 degrees. I started the day with my usual 6'ish roll out. After a cup of hot tea, a few quiet moments and the posting of this ramble I had a leftover buckwheat cake for breakfast then pedaled out to the rec for some 2 hours of pickle ball. I'm thrilled the chiropractor has me feeling so good that I'm able to run and play once again. The loosening of the lower vertebra has been wonderful and now I'm just experiencing the usual dull ache that I've had for 45 plus years in that area. I feel close to being back where I was a month ago, only I'm being a little more cautious with my activities especially on the pickle ball court. We had 2 courts going for most of the morning with a total of 10 players.

After the rec I headed home as I wanted to give my clothesline posts an additional final coat of paint and to work in the garden. Amy dropped Sam off while she shopped with GG then they all came for lunch. Sam was on the ipad so he played while I finished up my jobs and Nancy was at the rec working out. I picked more lettuce, kale and sugar peas for salads, and our supper of zuppa soup which is a creamy potato soup with sausage and kale in it, yeow is that ever a delicious meal along with a fresh salad. I took a mess of sugar peas up to our neighbors and she said they were delicious in a chicken casserole they had for supper.

Well after lunch I had a chiropractor appointment but for some reason I missed the right time and was nearly an hour late as I stopped off at Home Depot for things. Needless to say Nancy wasn't happy as the doctor's office called and wondered where I was as I'm always at least 15 minutes early. Seems the time change messed up my memory functions for a day anyhow they saw me and I called Nancy and then had to stop for items at the grocery on the way home. Luckily I had several items from the Home Depot I purchased in the back of the truck or I was in trouble trying to explain why I was nearly and hour late, oh well!

After supper we still had tons of daylight so I headed out to pull weeds and fertilize the front yard. We took a short walk then I came back to hand water the yards as the grass is starting to green up and the weeds look bad; usually its the other way around so I thought it was a good time to pull and hoe them from the yard. It was nearly 8 pm before we finally head in for the evening and the outside temps were starting to drop a little. What a gorgeous day for working outside. After the O'Reilly show I headed for the showers and then read several chapters in The Great Awakening(Bobby's book) and I'm starting to get into it. I was soon reading the inside of the eye lids about 10'ish so it was lights out, LATER
