Well it turned cold once again with temps down in the 40's for a low but it warmed up to the low 70's with bright sunshine and a steady gentle breeze for most of the day but did drop back into the low 50's while we were at The Keswick Concert held at our church last evening. Ava and Sam were magnificent in their singing and in their dress codes.
I started the morning with sleeping in the spare bedroom after Nancy snored so loud around 3'ish I could no longer stay in our bed and really didn't get much sleep as this was the room when just a couple days ago had me in so much pain from the sciatica it brought back memories of the occasion. Anyhow I finally got up some where around 5'ish and thankfully the internet was working, so I did my quiet times to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing, all seem to be holding. I'm getting better it seems each day but still after standing for any length of time get a reminder of what I went through a couple weeks ago. I purchased this supplement called Sciaticasoothe which as several ingredients that are supposed to help with easing that issue and I'm hoping it works as I'm not inclined to go through that again. I'm still seeing the chiro doctor now just once a week and it looks like I'm not getting any help from the VA on paying that bill, but just to be pain free is worth it since the original issue with my back started after an operation on L5 back in the 60's while serving in the USAF during VietNam.
Nancy was off with sister betsy shopping once again and I'm thinking she is now a shopaholic because she buys so much stuff, especially clothes that the closets are so full of that she never wears and her tummy isn't shrinking but getting bigger especially with her cookie baking. I'm starting to worry she has some issues with her eating and bathroom visits, oh well. She doesn't listen to me at all when trying to help her solve her issues.
Well I did some honey do's around the house then worked outside in the gardens hand watering and harvesting leafy greens for the salad bowl. I cleaned and then spun them dry and made up a huge bowl for the fridge. She was at McDonalds on the way home from shopping with a coffee drink and fries which bothered her all evening at the concert. Those were two things she never should have eaten, oh well. She was in the bathroom several times during that event. It was going on 9 before we got home and I hit the shower and then tried to get on the sports channel to watch the Lightning play and could never get it on the Roku but we did get it on the TV and the laptop, but I wanted it in the bedroom where I usually watch TV after my shower, oh well. That will be an issue today to correct if possible with my TV provider which is Spectrum, LATER
