Well Wednesday another work day for me here at Arianne's. I gave the new addition two coats of paint and then saw where the raccoons attempted to once again reenter the attic over the front porch vents into the roof. I had noticed the screening had been torn away the day before and reattached the screening which was damaged to say the least and sure enough the critters had once again torn the screening and tried to enter the attic space but the moth balls and ammonia combo must have been too strong for them as none was heard from them during the night. So I found some strong mesh wire screen and cut it to fit and covered that area. There is no way they will chew through this screen, oh well. There will be lots of work in making this old house critter proof when Errol gets back from Bulgaria.
There is no improvement on GG as she is still full of fluids and swelling is still there. The medical staff decided to install another drain for her chest cavity and she got no PT at all for the past couple of days since we have been here. They had at least for several days in a row had her sitting up in a chair but that has stopped. The chance for sending her to a rehab in Seminole is looking dim at this time before we leave for the cabin on Friday morning which is tomorrow. Hopefully we can spend a couple of weeks there as well as visiting family in Virginia.
Well thats about it from hot muggy Miami. Amy is preparing supper for us this evening and then we will leave early on Friday morning for the long trip north so as to open the cabin and make the yards presentable for Bobby and family's visit on Monday, LATER
