Well Monday started out on the chilly side but no frost which was a good thing for my tender garden plants. It did warm up into the high 60's and maybe even 70 in the bright sunshine. We just vegetated as the rec and library were closed. Nancy did get a load of laundry on the clothesline and I worked in the garden a little after lunch. She was anticipating her fast or clear liquid diet due to her colonoscopy on Tuesday(today).
I read for the biggest part of the morning after our quiet times and breakfast of fruit for me while she had hot tea and some kind of vegetable broth. She did make some jello for her lunch and for supper a clear beef flavored broth and a cup of tea. She was on the throne for an hour and half starting at 8 PM and then again at 3 AM when I had to set the alarm to awaken her for another round of ingesting this clean out solution plus 64 ounces of water. The girl could float a battleship with all the liquids she was forced to drink.
I ate some left over salad for lunch and I hated to do that in front of her and then some leftover baked zitti for supper. We did get in a nice long walk through the hood in the early afternoon when it was the warmest and then we read until it was time for supper. Afterwards we just chilled on the couch watching the news and then I read until it was lights out for me around 10:30. There wasn't much going on and it was kind of boring except for Nancy's diet which she stuck to really well, LATER
