Saturday morning ..March 7th

Well Friday was another some what laid back afternoon after a very busy morning that started with my before 6 roll out to a cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric. I of course always have my handful of Nutrilite vitamins and supplements that can only be purchased through the Amway corporation of which I'm an I.B.O.(independent business operator). I truly believe taking these top quality items daily which are processed only here in the USA have made a genuine difference in my good health, vitality and staying active. Our old doctor in Sparta thought it was all fake, but since he is younger than me and in much poorer health, I'm convinced he did not make the right decision by not taking them when I had proposed to make them available. Our food supple today does not supple all the essentials I now get in these items, plus I even grow many veggies which is also a plus for good health.

Well after my quiet moments with my Creator and Lord, giving thanks and lifting several by name I headed out to the rec. for some pickle ball. I did play a couple sets in the gym but there became so many players most of which are B players that 4 of us better players headed outside to play. It's different game all together and one I'm enjoying more than the inside the gym game. You have to contend with the elements but the lighting is better and the rallies are longer so you get more exercise; anyhow we played until nearly 11 before we were all tired out. I headed home to hand water the gardens then decided since it was such a cooler than usual day with a nice breeze to mow the yards. Nancy was still at her SFBC Bible class and wouldn't be home until close to 1.

I heated up the leftover deer burgers which were as good if not tastier than last night for our lunch, so delicious with a slice of sweet onion, dill pickles and mustard. That held us until I headed to Culver's later in the evening for some Walleye Pike dinners. This is a cold water fish and oh so good as well and they do a great job in preparing and at a very reasonable in price. We ate late as Amy and the kiddos came by for collards around 5:30 then Betsy stopped by and visited; it was going on 7 before we headed to bring back the Culver's as a take out. That place was packed with customers and we could hardly find a place to park. We ate their food in Brandon last week and for fast food its the best around. I had read for most of the afternoon taking it easy until everyone showed up.

Well after supper I got interested in some "living off the grid" videos on You Tube and I can get my adventures vicariously through these videos. They are so vivid and I love the ones where you take a sea plane into an area then have to canoe back to civilization. Today is a busy day as we have two picnics at the same park; one for the BridgePoint volunteers and the other for our Life Group all at Walsingham Park at the same shelter. Nancy is going with Amy to Keswick for a theatrical performance with Ava and Amy later in the evening. I'll stay home and watch the Lightning and then hit the sack early as we lose an hour and that means getting up at 4'ish instead of 5'ish for the load in at the college for BridgePoint, LATER
