Well the 4th of July started with my usual 6 ish rollout as Nancy was cutting timber in the early morning hours so I crept out and into the spare room around 5'ish; needless to say I was pretty much awake so I stayed up and did some keyboard time on the laptop until it was time to have some breakfast and then get ready to head over to Brandon for a cookout at Katie's parents home.
The update on GG sounds a little better than the day before as she was responsive for a couple hours and made small talk albeit was very slight due to the reinsertion of the breathing tube down her throat. The medical staff is not quite sure she is septic as the tests are still somewhat inconclusive on what is causing the high white cell count but she has responded to the antibiotics. GG really responds to Arianne as they have a very close relationship and always seems to perk up when she is around. Her youngest sister Elise is there with her also and just maybe that will be a perk as well as she loves to be around them when ever she visited Michigan in the past. We are still hoping GG will recover enough to get her back here to Seminole in a rehab facility.
Nancy is contemplating on going back down to Miami with me either driving her and then myself coming back the same day or her flying down and staying while I go to the cabin and get it ready for Bobby and family coming on the 15th of this month. Either way I'm not enthused about staying Miami and will do whatever is needed to help with the situation. We got back to Pinellas around 6'ish and visited with the Cool Peoples Club at the Botbyl's as the Tracy's came down for the day from the Dade City area. We shared a little of their supper but I was still satiated from the meal of smoked brisket and all the fixin's at the Korte House. We did get in a game of Sequence and gals thrashed us big time with a 4-1 beat down.
We walked home around 10'ish and the fire works were everywhere with some major type fireworks exploding above the 'hood. There seemed to be some competition between two separate sets of works but in the same area and the show was brilliant with colors and big bangs. I hit the sack a little after 10 and all was finally quite on the western front, LATER
