Well Sunday started out with no rain but by the early afternoon it poured buckets once gain and we did see the sun from time to time in between rain showers. We did get in a hike towards evening but just down the steep driveway and around the property. So far it rained every day for the past 5 days and we are all caught up on any drought possibilities for awhile. Lets just hope these storms in the Atlantic pass us by.
I started the day with my usual 6'ish rollout to my routines that begin with some quiet times to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing, all seem to be holding with this post. We worshiped first here at the cabin on line with Gary Hamrick from Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Va. and heard a great message on one of my main stay scriptures from Galatian about "reaping what you sow" and then we headed out to our local Cornerstone Fellowship in Sparta where Pastor B did a message on the resurrection of Jesus and how its validity is proven in history before the gospels where ever written including scientific evidence when Jesus died upon the cross with the eclipse and earthquake the moment HE gave it up to death. Afterwards we headed home as Jake wasn't at church but Katelyn was so we skipped eating out and came home.
I tuned into the NFL and saw where our Bucs came up short on the score board against the Super Bowl Champs, Eagles in a hard fought game with too many errors by the home town team, oh well. It was football until bedtime for me around 10'ish except for some small breaks in the action. We did get in a small hike during one of the periods of sunshine and I did read for a spell after my shower. Not much else going on except we are watching that storm or storms that are building and about this time last year one devastated western N.C. so much so its still being cleaned up in some areas, LATER
