Monday Morning August 5th

Well Sunday was an great day as we first worshipped on line at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Va. and then with a small church in Woodstock at Mike and Dee's church. Everyone was most warm in their greetings and then we headed up to Mountain View Rouitan Club's building for a cousin reunion. We had a good group of family members from all walks of our lineage but several were missing as well. I reconnected with many friends old friends and met several new members as well. The food was plentiful and very tasty with folks bringing covered dishes and then sharing lots of stories as well as old family photos. Several were gone forever from the last reunion we attended a couple years back.

Well we are packing for our return trip to N.C. and are keeping in touch with family there due to the hurricane that grazed the west shore of Florida where we are located and now is heading across the state and will probably bring some rain to the interior of the country. The Shenandoah Valley could use some much needed rain as the corn is curling and many of the gardens and crops have dried.

Well I'll cut this short and catch up tomorrow on all the going on's. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers for safe travel, LATER
