Monday Morning... August 12th

Well Sunday was an awesome day of family connections after worship at my old church where I attended during my youth. I hugged many necks and even shed a tear or two of joy in remembering old times. We saw many new faces at the old church as well as learned the passing of several over the past two years since we've been there. The weather was almost too perfect with no humidity. Nancy had made a vegetable casserole to take to

the reunion along with a cheesecake which was the first to disappear from the the dessert table.

We stayed and talked as well as made new acquaintances after eating a delicious meal everyone bring a dish  to share and who ever made or purchased the fried chicken found the best ever. The thing missing for the day was Nancy let her camera phone run down and we got no pictures to share. Everyone else took plenty and we had several group pictures for posterity. We will be here another day before heading back to the cabin, LATER

Here are a couple pics before her camera/phone died. The three old men are the last three remaining Triplett siblings and are brothers. All three of their wives are deceased as well as are their sisters one of which was my birth mother. The picture of me is helping Paw Paw visit the grave of his wife JoAnn at St.John's Church
