Well Tuesday had some different occasions with a supper out to an eatery in the evening as we actually celebrated Ava's 10th birthday on the date and I took GG to have her hearing test done in St.Petersburg; everything else was much the standard routines except Bobby popped in for a quick lunch while he was working in our county.
The day started much the usual with a before 6'ish roll out. I had my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and then spent some time with my Creator in thanksgiving and lifting up by name those I know who are hurting or need of some divine intervention. Afterwards I checked the weather at the cabin and then the obituaries in my home town which seems kind of morbid to say the least. So many of my classmates have passed the last couple of years and I'm worried they may be adding my name to the paper. I have loss several USAF buddies that I flew with the last year or so as well to that nasty Agent Orange crap that was used in Vietnam to defoliate the trees and bushes. I'm worried this small basal cell carcinoma on my leg may be the start for my demise as well. I've been using the home remedy and it has reduced the size of the irritation to about the size of an eraser head so far after about 4 days. Hopefully it will eliminate it all together.
I got ready and rode out to the Rec. on my bike around 8'ish for two full hours of pickle ball. We have a couple of really good B players who will move up to the A class with more playing experience so I got a good workout and left with a wet shirt shirt around 10'ish. The A players are somewhat nasty when it comes to belittling themselves to play with the B's but so what in my book and I don't miss their attitudes. I'm there for the exercise and the thrill of having fun while exercising; if not I could always go into the boring weight room and do the treadmill like Nancy does. No wonder she can hardly wait to hike the mountain instead of walking on that contraption.
We had leftover pasta fasoule soup for lunch when everyone came including Bobby. Afterwards I took GG to St.Pete for a hearing test and to have her aids tweaked. The doctor mentioned to her that she had lost more hearing and that her aids were about at the stage they longer were as good as they were 5 years ago. They have new technology which would help with her hearing as well and the cost would be around 3 grand after her insurance payment. I told her to go ahead and get them and enjoy her final years with good hearing as she is always saying "what" whenever you speak to her. I'm not sure if that is out of habit or lack of hearing.
We headed out to Jade's Bistro for supper as per Ava's request but when we arrived they were closed due to a family emergency sign that was posted on the door and along with several other strip store businesses owned by the same family so we went to another Asian eatery near GG's house where we have eaten take out several times. It was very good and plentiful. We dropped GG off at her house afterwards and then headed home to watch the Ray's hold onto a win in Baltimore against the Orioles. It wasn't long after a hot shower I was ready for some horizontal lab with lights out at 10'ish, LATER
