Wow is not time just flying by. It will soon be time to pack up and head for the cabin and some cooler temps. Yesterday was a rather warm with temps close to 90 but a stiff breeze seemed to keep the humidity at bay.
I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric and and fresh ginger root while I posted this ramble then some quiet time with my Creator. Most all are doing as well as can be expected and little 5 year old Eli who was diagnosis with sepsis is now home with his family and will be on antibiotics for some time. The rest of the gang I lift up daily are holding on.
I headed out a little before 9 as today we pickle ballers had the gym until noon so I got in three hours of some great play with a player who use to play with us but moved on. He is a great player who is 35 years younger than most of us and he stayed and played for an hour. It was good to see him and our play has improved so he is thinking of coming back on Tuesday's for awhile. I managed to beat him twice with different partners and I think he was impressed with some of us.
It was after noon when I got back to the house and Nancy decided to fry up that egg plant I harvested a week ago along with a large green tomato, yikes was that ever some fine eatin'. I harvested a fresh jalapeno pepper to add to the topping of mine and the flavor was so delicious. I also use a little ranch dressing as well. After lunch I headed out to hand water for an hour or so then took a 10 minute power nap before getting ready to head out for Brandon around 3'ish. I made a gas stop at Sam's Club for 2.54 a gallon before heading over on the toll road.
Well I can tell many of the snow birds are gone as it was smooth sailing through Tampa and it took only about an hour and half to get to Bobby's. Nancy stayed back as she attended Ava choral program at Keswick School. We shared some delicious pizza before heading to the ball field around 5:30 to get the field ready for the 6:30 game. Gabe's team was losing all through the game until the final inning then they put together some hits and won 14-11. I ran the score board as well as helped to get the kids warmed up with some pop flys and grounders before the game. I headed for home and the interstate was busy but no back ups for a change.
It was after 9 when I got back and hit the showers. The Ray's game was washed out so I watched some Fox Cable News before turning the lights out at 10'ish. It's looking like the obama administration is and was complicit with the attempted coup of our duly elected Potus Trump and now the evidence is coming to light and they covered for the crooked Hillary in the national security breach while she was secretary of state. It's no wonder they wanted her elected and then none of these revelations would have been brought to light. GOD help US(A) and now the left is and has gone crazy with candidates that are so filled with the TDS they care nothing about the status of our nation or love for its folks, LATER
