Saturday Morning July 2nd

Well Friday was a busy fun work day as we made 4 different scare crows; 3 small ones and 1 large stand up type in hopes it will distract the deer from eating our plants. It turned out to be a bigger project than anticipated plus I had to get out both my cutoff saw and the table saw to complete the task. I also wanted to build a system to hold our half umbrella which will give us some afternoon shade so we can start to eat again on the deck. We had Jake take out the big pine tree that usually gave us shade but it was huge and leaning towards the cabin and an attractor for lightning.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6 rollout to my routines that start with some quiet time after posting this ramble to honor my LORD and give thanks for another day as well as lifting several up by name for healing, traveling mercies and for our nation which is slowly being destroyed by those who hate christians and GOD which this nations principles was founded upon. So sad to see such blatant corruption among those in the gov't and in the main stream media. We must pray that GOD will have mercy upon US(A) and start to heal our land now that we no longer mandate the killing of babies is a national issue. Praises for those who honor the constitution in the judicial system which has become a shield for the corrupt and the criminals that have infested the nation and specifically the democrat party and most liberals on the Left.

Well the temps were quite nice until the afternoon when the humidity arose it ugly head. The basement stays around 60 which is a welcome relief when working under the side deck and the a/c is a relief for those hot sticky nights. We had leftovers for supper and then took a golf cart ride to the top of the mountain and stopped off at our Lakeland friends just across the way from the cabin. Frank has been working on widening his driveway and that meant taking out several tree stumps. He has been using a small Kubota tractor with a bucket and a backhoe and has done a good job. They have no yard as they are on the side of the mountain and a small driveway just large enough for a single vehicle; now they will at least have enough room for delivery vehicles to enter. The Rays lost again and are slipping further down in their division, LATER
