Tuesday Morning

Well the day started much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my usual routines that always start with my vitamins and a cup of hot green tea laced with fresh ginger root and turmeric while I post this ramble and then some quiet time with my Creator. All seem well except I haven't heard any news on Paw Paw in a week or so.

I headed out to the Rec. around 8 and got in an hour of pickle ball play before calling it a day as I want to work myself back into shape and build my stamina. I had a wet head before heading out around 9'ish for home on my bike. Today(Tue) I'll head over around 10 as we A players have the gym from 10-12 which excludes all of the B players who holds back your game. I came home and ran lots of errands as I needed some veggie seeds and herbs seedlings. I made a stop at Sam's Club for a gas fill up 2.13 a gallon . Wow its been awhile since I've seen it that low in price. I next stopped at Lowes for my seeds and then Audi's for Nancy before heading home with several items.

I piddled around in the garden feeding my new seedlings and will be ready to harvest some lettuces and kale the next day or so. I sowed my carrot seeds as well as some cucumber seeds and set my herbs; cilantro and dill into the ground as well and moved some tomato seedlings I brought back from the cabin into the ground. All are doing well except the collards and Swiss chard which has either a worm or the squirrels nibbling away on the leaves. I dusted them last night with some Sevin dust in hopes that will deter them from eating.

I have some more lettuces up that need transplanting and the egg plant has two blossoms already. The tomato seeds I brought back from sister Dee's and the Brownings are up about an inch or so. I should have plenty of tomato's if they make. I've just about filled up my gardens except for the transplanting of my tomato's which will fill up. Amy and grand kiddos came by in the afternoon and finished off the chocolate cake and cup cakes, thankfully. I did not want to break down and eat any as the sugar is not great for fighting any illnesses. I've still got a little cough but nothing to worry about and I feel stronger each day. We cleaned up the leftovers from Sunday's dinner and I must say lamb gravy is the most delicious ever over smashed taters. We watched the news until 8 then I headed into the shower and watched a little MNF before lights out at 10 for me. I need a head start as Nancy snores and keeps me awake after about 3'ish, LATER
