Thursday Morning

Well Wednesday at times was very painful and quite uncomfortable but thanks to ibuprofen I got through the day and night and today or this morning I will hopefully feel the last of this ache in my tooth and jaw. There is nothing more aggravating than a toothache. I did manage to get to the rec for a couple hours of pickle ball which helped with taking my mind off the ache. My dentist guarantees he will work me in this morning for a crown on that cracked molar.

After my usual morning routines and at times with annoying pain I managed a few quiet moments despite the throb and a lite breakfast before pedaling out to the rec. The sea fog was back saturating the area with wetness and limiting visibility. It stayed that way for most of the day but at least it wasn't cold. The temps did drop a little as another front moved through the area and during the night it brought a little more rain.

After the workout and a wet shirt I stopped and picked up a new read by Grisham that I had on order for the last couple months titled GRAY MOUNTAIN. I got about a third of the way through it during the day and evening and its a good read with a visceral message about the coal company's in Appalachia. I then hand watered the gardens and picked sugar peas for supper. We weren't having any of the usual family for lunch so it was very quiet around the house and that was a good thing as the molar was very annoying and downright painful when the ibuprofen wore off. We had a salad for lunch then Nancy took off shopping for Sam's birthday which is the same day as hers. Next week he will be 5 and she will be 58, wow where did that time go?

We had fresh asparagus, fresh mushrooms and fresh garden sugar peas sauteed and put over Jasmine rice along with a pan seared sirloin steak for supper slathered with fresh rosemary yeow was that ever delicious. Tonight was house church but I didn't feel in the mood with the toothache to attend so I bowed out and cleaned the kitchen and washed the dishes. I vegetated again on the couch with a couple more pain relievers and settled into the FOX News channel until the Idol show came on at 8. There are some real talented guys this year in the competition and tonight(Thurs)we see the gals perform. We now a button on this new TV that allows you to go back and watch a show from the beginning despite it being completed and over with, just like taping it.

Well I headed for the showers and then read for awhile before it was lights out for me at 11, LATER
