Thursday Morning Oct 24th

Well its rather hot here in sunny Florida and really the humidity isn't all that terrible. I worked outside for most of the day especially until mid afternoon when the heat gets the most. We of course had the heat at the cabin for several days before heading back here into the heat. The a/c has been running 24/7 but the evening have been nice.

I started the morning with a well before 6 rollout to my routines that begin with some quiet times to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing. All seem to be holding with this post. The folks in western Carolina and Tennessee still need lots of prayers and support after the storm of the century wiped out so many folks. After a lite breakfast I headed out to work in the gardens and yards rotor tilling the last garden in the back yard but I still have a small patch on the side of the house to clean out and rotor till. This electric tiller works perfectly for the gardens and Tyler used it during the summer to keep the grasses and weeds at bay as usually when I get back from the mountains the gardens are over grown with both. After the tilling I finished off the vines on the side of the house using once again an electric hedge clipper. I still have the front flower beds to clean out, but those can wait for another day.

Nancy was off with sister Betsy shopping for rugs and bath towels to match the new remodeled bathrooms, so that gave me some free time to work on the shed with out her interference. I still have to clean out the garage so I can put the truck away but that will be another couple of days as we leave tomorrow for three days to watch the grand twins in Brandon while son Bobby and wife Katie are at a dude ranch in Montana.

We headed out around 6:30 after a salad with some chicken fingers cut up on top for S.R.B.C. where connected once again with our 242 meeting. Our pastor was on vacation so a missionary from England spoke and while he was an exciting speaker he was a bit difficult to follow due to his dialect. We were welcomed back by several and saw many new faces as well and was back home by 8:30. I soon hit the shower and then watched ALONE on my small T.V. in the bedroom and had lights out by 10'ish after a busy day, LATER
