Thursday Morning Oct 13th

Well Wednesday was a busy day with moderate temps until the late afternoon when rain developed and continued through the night with down pours at times. Our friends from church visited for the first time ever here at the cabin and took a wrong turn and got hung up on the rocks going up the mountain. It took all four us guys and come a long to get them off the rocks and to our place. We all then headed to Cornerstone for a prophecy meeting that was being introduced by our small group leaders around 5:30.

I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my usual morning routines that start with some quiet time after posting this ramble and then a solo hike to the top of the mountain. It was a rather nice morning with cool temps but nothing really cold like the last two morning. After a lite breakfast of left over cinnamon cake I headed out to help Steve carry some timbers up his steep hill for the channels he dug to help steer rain runoff from his camp ground over the winter. I worked on my driveway before calling it day of work also cutting channels for rain run off which was forecasted later in the day.

We were eating a late lunch/early supper when Ann and James were to arrive but of course their wrong turn set us back another hour before we finally sat down to eat around 3'ish. The rain kept us in the house the rest of the day and evening except for our trip to church for the video. We guys played some dice games while the gals chatted until it was bed time for me around 10' LATER
