Friday

Well Thursday started out with what appeared to be rain clouds in the area and it did eventually rain from time to time and the clouds kept the temps down into the low 80's which made it nice. I started the day with my usual rollout around 6'ish to my routine(s) before riding out to the rec for a abbreviated workout on the pickle ball courts. I'm still not over this upper respiratory discomfort so I didn't want to weakened my resistance my physically over doing it but I needed activity. I cut the play to about an hour with 7 other players.

On the way home I stopped off at the library for a couple new reads before heading home. The garden and grass sprigs got a good watering overnight so I headed into read until lunchtime. Amy, GG and the kiddos were coming for lunch after little Eliza had her 4 month checkup of which she got 3 invacinations. She wasn't a happy camper after the shots and it took her awhile to get back to her normal sweet self. We played in the music room after lunch for before she finally nursed and took a short nap. She takes 15-20 minutes naps which are short but she does sleep all night and has been for quite sometime which is really a blessing for Amy.

After they left we took GG and headed to Sam's Club, Publix and Aldi's before finally getting back to Seminole around 4:30 after dropping GG and her goodies off at her house. We are having Amy's birthday dinner with the family on Friday evening so we needed a beef roast and other goodies. I grilled a couple bone-in pork chops along with canned peas and yellow rice for supper. After the clean up Nancy decided to take a short hike through the hood as she missed her workout today so I settled into the Fox News channel until it was time for the showers. I tuned into the left coast where the Ray's were beating the Angels after a couple innings but after a shot of cough syrup I decided to call it a day a round 11. Not much else going on except it really been raining a lot in the mountain's and the web cam shows the new leaves starting to really pop out with grasses looking a bright green, LATER
