Well Wednesday started out much the usual with a 6'ish roll out and then a few quiet moments before a lite breakfast and then a ride on my bike to the rec for 2 good hours of pickle ball play. Today we said good-bye to our fellow player and friend as he and his wife drive back to Canada for the summer. We had 2 courts in action and the wet shirts were evident to everyone despite having a few B players mixed in with the group. I stopped off at the library on the way home.
Nancy had been watching Eliza Faye while Amy was having her yearly eye checkup and shortly after I got home Amy picked her up and headed home. Eliza had been up several times the night before with throwing up. It seems she may have picked up a bug of some sort but she did seem rather subdued this morning but no longer vomiting. I hand watered the new seedlings then got ready to see the endondist about these molars that have been paining me this past week.
Well the report from him was that I had taken some Advil around midnight due to the pain and then a couple more at 6 AM this morning before pickle ball and the effects of that pain reliever seemed to be masking the tests at the endondist; so I must go down to St.Pete today(Thurs.)and have them check me again. This time I'm not allowed any pain relief meds after midnight until I complete the tests to determine if a root canal is necessary at my 8:30 AM appointment. I did have some pain in the jaw area after lunch yesterday but the molars have been relatively calm since then, so just maybe I won't need another root canal. What ever happens I need it to happen in the next week or so as we plan on leaving here for the cabin in 3 weeks.
Nancy had taken off with her brother Eric to the hospital to see GG and while there the doctors decided to release her to go home. She looked great and they all came for supper. I made another guacamole as that is one of her favorites snacks and we sat around munching with a little vino. I then grilled some marinated sirloin steaks while Nancy sauteed peppers, onions, mushrooms and fresh broccoli for supper. We sat around after the cleanup and watched the news and then watched the Ray's game until she wanted to be home before dark. I set the yard sprinkler and then we settled into the Lightning and Ray's games of which both local teams won. That was about it for the day.
We spoke with several out of stater's regarding GG's health as well as with our neighbor Carol regarding the passing of her mother. She is having a memorial service on Saturday evening in her mothers memory at Seminole First Baptist Church, LATER
