Monday Morning

Well Sunday was once again a rather warm and muggy day so the a/c is still on. Temp's reached the low 80's and late Sunday night we got an unexpected rain shower. It didn't last long but it did rain hard for about 1/2 an hour. I think that may be a front which is supposed to bring a cold front our way later this week, but right now this AM it's 68* at 6 AM. The mountains are forecasted for some very cold freezing temps this coming week.

We started the day with a 7'ish roll out as we got ready for the gathering at Element Church in Tampa. We had a nice group of kiddos running around and greeting us at the door. They had leftover whistles and stuff from New Years Eve to greet us with when we first arrived. They were so cute and our grand kiddos were in that group of welcomer's as well. We rode with Dan and Carol as she gets to attend a service about once a month due to the fact she is a full time care giver for her mom who seems to be recovering from her fall on new years eve which required 5 stitches to her head. Carol's brother Jack relieves her occasionally on a Sunday so she can attend worship. Melody Farrell did an awesome job with her message to us on discipleship and the music was led by Bobby. It was a great day of worship to start the new year.

We had Amy and the kiddos for lunch as Tyler is still out of town with his college group in Atlanta for the Passion conference. We had a lunch of garden salad and then they again helped us cleanup the leftovers from new years day supper. I vegetated on the couch after lunch watching 2 close playoff games as the Colts and Cowboys move on to the next round which looks like it might be even tougher for either of them to win next weekend. The Ravens and the Panthers won on Saturday and will be faced with some much tougher opponents next week as well. After the kiddos left around 6'ish Nancy got in a late evening walk with Carol and Diane while I vacuumed the house. We then settled into our respective areas to watch the tube. After the conclusion of the game I ended up watching the Alaskan Families who live there full time and find it quite interesting how they have acclimated to the wild. That is some beautiful country but not sure I would want to winter there.

After a hot shower it wasn't long until it was nighty, night, LATER
