Well Saturday started off with a crisp morning with plenty of sunshine but by late afternoon clouds moved in and once more rain fell and at times rather hard. We had gone a couple of days with no rain but did have heavy dews at night. I did hand water some of the seedlings but noticed the flower beds were showing some color after just less than a week of sowing seeds. I sowed some radishes and Swiss chard seeds as well as a couple of cucumber seeds since my seedlings weren't looking great, oh well.
I started the day with my before 6 roll out to my routines that always start with some quiet time to honor my LORD, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healings. All are holding and I'm slowly healing this back muscle and pinched nerve or at least I'm managing the discomfort better, oh well. I'm able to hike and to work and when it gets too painful I ice it down which seems to help immensely.
I did get in a hike with Nancy and Rocky as well as a golf cart ride to the top of the mountain around mid morning. We got our zinnia/dahlia seeds in the mail and I worked up a couple beds and sowed them just in time for the rain in the afternoon and evening. We had leftovers for lunch and a nice chef salad for supper as we try to eat a little better with just the two of us. Most of the leftovers are gone and we can start a new.
I tuned into the Ray's double hitter games and watched both games which they should have won both but did split so they are still ahead in the division. They need some better relief pitching and a lot less walks, oh well. Today is corporate worship day at Cornerstone and we will start with some on line worship first. We will do some shopping after lunch out with the Frankis Family at Food Lion and then the meat market before heading back on the hill, LATER
