Saturday Morning June 3rd

Well Friday was just another almost perfect day with warmer temps, lots of sunshine and a cool breeze that kept it perfect for working outside in the yards and gardens and for porch reading in the afternoon. I started the day with a 3'ish rollout as Amy and family left around 4'ish. They got into their condo in Wisconsin around 8'ish that evening after a long drive that took them through Chicago which just them an extra hour due to traffic. But they got there safe and sound which was the main thing and they will leave there next Friday for this long trip back here to the cabin until Sunday when they head back to Seminole.

We went back to bed until 7'ish and piddled around the cabin until mid morning when I headed out to check on the gardens and prepare another spot for a new flower bed next to the wood pile after my quiet time to honor my LORD and lift up several. I have tons of seeds coming and so many leftover from last years flowers that its a shame not to sow them and see the beautiful wonders that come from a dried up old flower head. I transplanted the last of the tomato seedlings down below the garlic patch which is also a new veggie bed. I brought so many thinking they would not last like last year but all of these lived an got larger and I couldn't bear to throw them away. I gave away a couple dozen and planted a couple dozen so if they make we will have plenty to give away with neighbors and church family.

We took a hike with Rocky before lunch and while he is a handful at times he loves to wonder in the woods. One good thing he like to do is poop in the woods so I don't have to pick up his stuff which I'm sure is a huge pile. He eats twice a day sometimes as he is a picky eater and will go a day or so without eating. He is always eating sticks and any kind of charcoal from the fire pit which I have to put on hold while he is here. Neighbor Gerald brought me a couple packs of venison for burgers and stopped to love up on Rocky. He misses his huge Great Dane, Bella which he loved and who was a gentle giant like Rocky.

We ate some leftovers for lunch and then a chef salad for supper which was great as we have been over eating for the past week. Nancy had me order new quilts for the 4 beds upstairs and then I tried to watch the Rays game but they were rained out so I listened to another game until it was shower time around 9:30 and then some horizontal lab around 10'ish, LATER
