Well I'm up early as the Amy and Family are getting ready to head out for Florida this AM. They want to leave by 6 or before so as to get home before too late. Traveling with three kiddos and a large dog will cause them to stop more than usual. I hear them upstairs as they get ready to do some final packing. It's 5 AM.
We had a grand visit as always with them but the weather never was as good as it could have been with down pours throughout most of the day on Saturday. We did get a break for a couple hours just before lunch so we all took a hike to the top of the mountain and then across the flat area before heading back down just in time as the skies opened up once again and really never stopped until just before dark. What a soggy wet messy day so we stayed in and played games and watched some sports throughout the evening.
Well Amy just came down and let Rocky out of his cage. He is one happy dog in the mornings and goes around swishing tail and greeting everyone. We will miss him but not his failure to listen or his running through my flower beds. He took off yesterday afternoon when we let him out to potty and ended up down at neighbor Gerald's house causing some excitement with his family. He is such a large rather mean looking animal but has a great disposition except for being a puppy.
Well its off to church this morning and then we are to help with a mission group visiting for a week from Michigan which will help keep us occupied. I'm hoping the rain stays away so I can get some gardening now that the big puppy won't be around to run through the beds, LATER
