Well Wednesday was another busy day and the morning temps were very nice once again but by mid afternoon the heat and humidity was present so on went the a/c. After dark the nice gentle breeze made for a pleasant evening dinner outside at a neighbor house for a birthday party for their son. I did go to the VA for a lab appointment and then again this morning to catch up with my primary doctor on what been a happening since I last saw her.
I headed out for pickle ball for the first time in a long time to the REC. You must wear a mask when entering and leaving and they take your temp but on the court it's business as usual. I got in 6 games with different partners and managed to win each time until the last game when I was planning on leaving. It was great to get back to playing.
I worked outside in the gardens the rest of the afternoon and just about have all of the grasses raked out and piled up to be be mulched. Next year I'm thinking black plastic to cover the gardens which would kill the earthworms but would make this job go away and keep the grasses and weeds from growing so thick. This is a job especially in the heat.
We were invited to the Botbyl's where the Tracy's were throwing a dinner party for their son Ryan and had invited around 15 or more friends. I grilled flank steaks and chicken breast and there were tons of finger foods, fresh vegetables and a delicious banana cream and chocolate pies. There goes the 4 pounds I've already lost since being home. I finally got down to 190 after being at 195 when we got home from the mountains. Parties like this is the reason, oh well the eatin' was fine.
Well no final results on the election except we are seeing the results of some mail in ballot frauds to help change the results. Its down right disgusting and so obvious of what the dems are doing, LATER
