Monday Morning November 30th

Well the thanksgiving weekend was great with way too much fine eatin', visiting with friends and family and yesterdays worship via on line with our house church/life group at the Nymark's place topped the weekend off. There were 35 or so in attendance with tons of food to share as well as great worship and fellowship much like in the first days of the beginning church.

I started the day with my usual 6'ish rollout to a cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble then spent my daily morning quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting several up by name as well as our Potus Trump, our military and badge families. America is at a cross roads of the corrupt politicians attempting to steal this election and change the history, culture and heritage of this great nation. We must all pray this does not happen and support the good in this nation that made us so successful. Believe me I've traveled all over this world and there is no place on earth that can compare to our freedoms, liberties and standard of living. If the radicals get control and they have made it known this nation will no longer be the same. They want us to become a socialist and a globalist country which rewards the elites and powerful that makes the rest of us depend on them for our living. Every nation that ever kowtowed to this ideology has failed and failed miserably. They want tyranny and dictatorship which is beyond my comprehension and only GOD can now help us if we let them steal this election.

We got back from the house church around 11'ish so I headed out to hand water the gardens and Nancy took off to do some Christmas shopping. We had such a filling breakfast which held me until around 6'ish when I finished the couple pre made sandwiches from Thanksgiving. I spent the afternoon on the couch watching the NFL as it was too hot to do much of anything outside. I do not respect the league any longer due to their disrespect of the anthem and flag but I do love the game of football as I played it for 5 years in high school and even had a small scholarship to a two year junior college. Oh well. Football gets into a males blood.

I didn't do much the rest of the day except headed out in between games to hand water the gardens. I sowed radish seeds on Thursday and they showed some colors as they broke ground on Sunday afternoon. Now that is quick. I'm hoping the carrots break ground in this next week or so. They should as I'm making this post we are having a torrential rain storm this early Monday morning. I'm thinking hurricane type rains. I just hope it doesn't wash away by gardens especially the recently sowed carrot seeds, oh well. We need the rain especially for the yards as I only hand water it occasionally; but the gardens get it at least twice a day, as hot as it's been. Speaking of weather, I'm understanding a cold front is approaching after this rain storm passes with temps down into the upper 40's. Wow what a change that will be and I'm ready for some at least 60's as a high.

Well Nancy brought back a truck full of presents for the grand kiddos and we have to go out again this afternoon for a bike for Gabe as we are having Christmas early this year due to going to the mountains for a couple weeks. We are planning on being there a week before Christmas and then a week afterwards through New Years if all goes as planned, LATER

Sunday Morning November 29th

Well Saturday was another hot day with temps well into the 80's, there was a breeze which kept it comfortable enough in the shade. Here it is almost December and we are still running the a/c constantly. I got in 2 hours of pickle ball at the Rec before heading home around 10'ish to hand water the gardens. I noticed something was strange about the volunteer tomatoes I thought had come up in the garden; well they are weeds and I had potted up a dozen or so. I did this once before a couple years ago, oh well. I still have 3 seedlings from seeds sowed in the ground and the only way to determine tomato's from this weed is to rub the leaf and smell the tomato scent.

Bobby and family were coming for lunch and a visit so Nancy was off to Publix again for lunch food for the boys as they love meat balls cut up with fruit and mixed veggies. She also loaded up with lunch meats despite the left over turkey. It was a fun time with the boys and Annsley and Gabe. They are into their hand held electronics. The boys ate well but a little messy as we didn't have their regular chairs and bibs. We played and watched them walk behind this push cart. They are standing but resort to crawling on all 4's when they get from place to place.

They all headed out around 2'ish for Brandon as it was nap time and they were yawning. They had visited with some old friends who now live in  Oregon. They were part of our house church and part of Element Church at one time. They now have a little girl but moved to the west coast to be near family. She does photography and is quite an expert now in the field with family pictures. She is the one who took our family pics a few years back under the pier on the beach.

Well we picked up the Botbyl's and met the Nymarks at Outback for supper at 4:30. There were a few customers but usually this placed is packing with long waits on a Saturday afternoon and evening. The food was good and I tried to cut back with just a bowl of baked potato

soup, bread and some of the deep fried onion appetizer. We came back to our place and later in the evening had pie while playing games.

The guys won the best of 7 games in Sequence and gals won the two Euchre games. It was going on 9 and we had an early breakfast date at the Nymark's palatial house as they host our house or life group meetings on Sunday morning. They can easily hold 50+ folks in their huge open area and are very generous providing lots of foods. Everyone is supposed to bring something to share and there is usually too much to go around.

Well that was about it for the day as after a hot shower I was ready for some horizontal lab by 10'ish. LATER

Saturday Morning November 28th

Well Friday was turkey day all over again as we traveled to Brandon to meet up with several relatives on Bobby's side of the family as well as Katie's relative's who were visiting but did not stay to eat. There was a house full, but of course now with the extended pool and patio area there was plenty of room for all to eat outside. We went over early in the afternoon and took the Ross grand kiddos so they could play with their cousins who are 6 months apart in age. They entertained themselves in the pool and tree house area while I entertained the boys in the pool and then again in their adult size playpen on the patio.

The day started much the usual for me with a 6'ish roll out to my cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet times with my Creator and Lord lifting up several by name. All seem as well as can be expected on this date. After my social media remarks and checking the news I decided to have a piece of Amy's apple pie I passed up last night for breakfast. It was filling and delicious. That held me until the Ross Family came for a lunch of pre-made sandwiches from Publix that neighbor Bobby, our fireman blessed us with. Seems they were given too much for the firehall. After lunch we headed out with Ava, Sam and Eliza for the usually hour trip to Bobby's but there was a 6 car crash on the interstate which had us another 30 minutes or more in a back up. Four of the five lanes were blocked so it was a 5 mile crawl with all the traffic on the road, oh well.

The kiddos took off and we seldom seen them except when they were thirsty or hungry until it was supper time. Katie's folks and some family were visiting so we enjoyed our visit. The boys were awakening from their naps so it was play time with them until they had their baths and were ready for bed at 7. Bobby's cousins on Nancy's side of the family started coming with their kiddos around 4'ish. Nancy's sister Betsy and son Braden came as well as Arianne, Austin and Philip with their families. It was a grand reunion and the food was plentiful and delicious. A little fruit of the vine was shared as well before eating.

We ate heartily and there were 5 pies for dessert with 2 pumpkin, 1 apple and 2 pecan. Wow what a feast as well as a couple loaves of homemade sourdough bread that Megan makes. I could have made a meal on it alone. We visited until after 8 as Philip had a 2 hour trip back to the Naples area and of course we had the hour trip back as well. I was whupped by the time we got home around 9:30 after helping to clean up, washing dishes and dividing up food. Its always great to get together with family and eat hearty. Bobby and Katie's place is the place for large family get togethers, Later

Friday Morning November 27th

Well I must say I over indulged with all the delicious food throughout the day but the turkey dinner was fabulous with all the trimming, oh my. We had 6 adults and 3 kiddos plus Rocky the now grand dog so we were under 10 in attendance set forth by the idiotic social tyrants to thwart this virus promoted by the criminal MSM.

I started the day much the usual with a 6 ish rollout to my routines that start with a cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting several up for comfort and healing. All seem as well as can be expected. Since there was no pickle ball at the REC, I headed out with my usual apple for breakfast to piddle around in the gardens. I worked up the side garden and sowed 3 small rows of carrots and 2 rows of radishes. The soil in that garden patch looks very good with good compost and not as sandy.

The rest of the garden seedlings look good, thus far. More radishes are up from the first planting yet the sugar peas are not germinating as well as I hoped. I have a few showing colors but I'm afraid the seeds may have been too old, oh well. We get tired of them easily and quickly and while I love them raw and in salads they aren't my favorite cooked. I took off on a couple mile bike ride through the neighborhood and worked up a sweat. Neighbor Bobby, a fireman came by with some platters of sandwiches, cheeses and cut up fruit from the Publix store who blessed the local firemen. They just had too much so he blessed us with enough for lunch for a day or so.

I spent the rest of the day helping to clean house and then I settled into some of an NFL game which was boring to say the least. None of these teams are going to excel this year with their record of losses. I did catch up on some social media and the news and Trump still has a shot of over turning this attempt by the crooked dems at stealing the election by fraudulent means. We who are Believers got a good message that houses of worship can be reopened by the SCOTUS. The tyrants in the gov't wanted to have bars and strip clubs open but not churches, unbelievable.

Well we sat around after a filling supper of all the usual recipes kept in the family as well as the home made pies. I had to pass on the pies as I had a second helping of the dried stuffing and sweet taters which we only have on these big family dinner during the holidays. We won't have this big dinner again this year at Christmas as we will be gone to the cabin. I think I counted 6 or 7 pies but 4 of these go to Bobby's today for another turkey dinner with all the trimming. All of us except Gus will go over plus Braden will come since he is off. There will be other nieces and nephews on Nancy's side who will be there with their kiddos as Bobby has the ideal party house, patio and pool. We sent two huge plates home with Betsy for both Braden and Garrett and we still have enough leftovers for a couple meals, oh well. I'm hoping next year we will not have back to back turkey dinners, however I do like turkey but so close together is just too much, oh well.

We here at this house have much to be thankful despite the year being one of uncertainty with who will be in control of our gov't. We are big conservatives who love GOD, Family and Country, mostly in that order and who stands for the Flag and the Anthem. I have never seen so much hatred for a potus who has tried to restore America to the greatness she was once recognized as being the model for freedoms and liberties. It's just so disappointing to see and hear a bias MSM and the democratic party become the enemy of all that is good and right. They have become the internal enemies of America with their globalist ideology and are critical of America First. I honestly believe they are afraid Trump is and will continue to expose their corruption and friendship for money with those who chant"death to America". We have seen their duplicity and yet the MSM never reports it. Only GOD can save US(A) with the help  of Trump and the republicans, LATER

Thursday Morning ..Thanksgiving Day..Nov.26th

Well its hard to believe Christmas is a month away and then finally a New Year. This has been one miserable year but I still have a lot to be thankful for. I'm above ground but so many of my classmates are not and it does play on your thinking, about when your time is up as we grow older. Wednesday was another nice morning to start the day and by the afternoon the heat came back but we were saved by a stiff breeze which kept it pleasant to work outside. I'm finally seeing some improvement in the yards as I am constantly pulling weeds and the unwanted grasses which seem to flourish. I transplanted more vegetable seedlings into pots as well as put some in the ground. I finally got my seeds from Burpee yesterday evening in the mail so I'll work today(thur) in the gardens sowing carrots and radishes as the REC is closed for two days. No pickle ball until Saturday, yuck.

I started the day on Wednesday much the same with a before 6'ish roll out to my hot green tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting up several by name. I headed out around 8 for the REC on my bike and never sat down for two hours of pickle ball play with some really decent players. I left with a wet shirt but I can tell my stamina is returning as I wasn't as whupped as I have been this time last week.

I came home and started working in the gardens once again spading up large areas and removed any grass and tree roots. I got the ground ready for some tomato plants of which now I'm throughly overloaded. The two I bought both died but these are from seeds which were ages old but they germinated and now I'll have at least a dozen or more to plant. So I'll be able to supply the 'hood if they all make. I moved a couple dozen Bibb lettuce seedlings with two leaves into 6 and 9 packs from the pot they germinated in. My other lettuce seeds failed to germinate but the new seed order has them in there, so I'll sow more seeds to day. I love Romaine and those did not germinate, oh well.

I stayed outside most of the day following the shade in the back yard so I could work at times out of the direct sunshine. It was hot but not nearly as humid as it has been. Nancy was busy after lunch making her Christmas cookies that she will freeze. Once she has a dozen different varieties or so baked she will give them away. I grilled ground venison that we brought back from neighbor Gerald's freezer that he harvested last year. It is the best ever as we ate it like a cheeseburger, delicious to say the least. One individual pack makes 4 nice burgers and we like it pink in the middle with cheese on top. I think he harvested another nice buck that eats our veggies and flowers so I'm hoping for another mess when we get to the cabin in December.

Well that was about it as we checked in with Newsmax station to get our unbiased news after the clean up from supper. Things are starting look as if just maybe the authorities are looking into this attempt to steal this election from Trump. There is so much corruption being displayed in all of the battle ground states that its a wonder they have taken so long to investigate. So many affidavits have been filed by eye witnesses to this corruption and now were are seeing the rules had been changed as well by poll workers. We must get to the bottom of this just to make sure these who are attempting to steal this election is exposed and then prosecuted. Even the computers used to record these votes have been tampered with to make the votes one sided, unbelievable this happening in our country. The dem's are desperate to regain power and put the nation in a lock down to destroy this great economy that Trump's policies started. Biden's supposed cabinet looks like the same kind of folks that destroyed the nation in his and Obama's 8 years in control. GOD HELP us it they get the power. We will never know of all the corruption in their party if they steal this election and we will become a third world country, LATER

Wednesday Morning November 25th

Well the heat returned yesterday but a nice breeze kept it bearable for most of the day. There was plenty of sunshine and blue skies. I worked outside once again for most of the day after my morning 2 hour session at the Rec on the pickle ball court. I did set into the ground many seedlings I had started from seeds in hopes they will make. I'll have a plenty of leafy greens for the salad if they all make and the radishes are showing more color along with the sugar peas as they germinate and push through the soil.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6'ish rollout to my cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in worship and thanksgiving while lifting several up by name for comfort and healing as well. Except for the loss of a dear classmate all seem as well as can be expected. I got ready a little before 8 and headed out on my bike to the Rec.

The play was awesome as we had only good players for a change. The couple so called players who usually come at least 2 to 3 times a week stayed away. They are nice folks but not good players and everyone moans when they show up because you just play different against them, especially when they are on your team, oh well. I left at 10 with a wet shirt and worn out legs after not losing for the two hours play. My game has returned along with my stamina.

I pedaled home against a stiff north wind and saw where Nancy was taking Amy and the girls(Ava and Eliza) Christmas shopping for clothes as they won't be here this year for Christmas. They will be out west with Tyler family and we are planning on being at the cabin with Bobby's family. So we already have the tree up with decorations to have the Ross Family celebration early as we both leave Florida on the 20th of December.

I worked outside in the gardens until lunchtime then took and hour break before heading back again around 2'ish until nearly 5. I transplanted lots of kale, lettuces, collards as well as 2 hills of cucumbers seedlings into the ground. That meant turning over the soil and digging out a couple large oak tree roots that has invade the gardens. I had to use a power saw as they were that big. I once again pulled weeds that continue to invade the grasses in the back yards and this time I managed to pull out their roots which some were 6-10 inches long. No wonder these same weeds come back all the time, oh well.

Nancy got home around 5'ish and we had a frozen pizza and a salad for supper at 6'ish. After the clean up we settled into the Newsmax show and caught up on the real news. I did switch to Fox at 8 and watched Tucker to see if he has sold out conservatives and I'm on the fence with his credibility. Newsmax folks are still reporting that Trump is pursuing the investigation of the voter frauds and they are quite optimistic that Trump will win the election as do we. The dem's are showing their hand with those cabinet picks who they think will take over and all of them are so unAmerican; reversing the policies that Trump put into place to make America first on the national and world scene. GOD help US(A) if the courts do not reverse this stolen election by using illegal ballots and voter fraud. We will never recognize the America we love and once knew and especially those of us who are christians, LATER

Tuesday Morning November 24th

Well time moves on at a rapid pace the older we get . Thanksgiving is this week and then Christmas a month later, wow. This year is coming to a close finally. I lost another class mate yesterday to some form of cancer and it saddens me deeply. She was such a vibrant fun loving classmate and very popular in school. She was a Believer so she is out of her pain and with our Lord.

Monday was another warm day here in Florida which was supposed to be the start of a cold front. I guess anything less than 90 is a cold front. I did spend most of the day outside as Nancy was off once again shopping with sister Betsy. I started the day with a before 6 roll out which is becoming the norm since I usually hit the sack around 10'ish. I did my morning routines that start with a cup of hot green tea, posting of this ramble, quiet time with my Creator and Lord and then my 2 cents worth on social media.

I headed out a little before 8 on my bike to the local Rec. for 2 hours of pickle ball play. We had good players today and the action was excellent. I'm almost back to being in good shape for an old man as my stamina has greatly increased with daily play and then being on my feet for all of the afternoon working in the gardens. I worked on the water softner to no avail. I'll have to have the tech back out next week to correct the issue or purchase a new system.

I did move some tomato seedlings in large pots and noticed several new seedlings popping up in my containers from seeds. I also moved a couple collards into larger pots as well before setting them in the garden. It did cool down enough around 4 ish to sit under the big oak in the back yard and read for an hour while having a glass of vino while waiting on Nancy to return. It was pleasant for a change with little or no humidity. After supper we tuned into the Newsmax channel for the updates and they still hold that Trump has a chance to be re elected which he deserves after this past fraud attempt by the dems to steal the election. I too am holding out that Trump will win as well when this goes to the supreme court because of the illegal mail in ballots and under the equal protection clause in the constitution which the swing states disallowed bipartisan reporting.

The corrupt Biden folks are doing everything they can to dishonor the constitution and if they prevail the nation is sunk. We will become a socialist nation and all of the crimes the dems have been guilty of will be swept under the rug. I'm still praying for divine intervention, LATER

Monday Morning November 23rd

Well Sunday was a great day of worship which we did on line with first BridgePoint and then Calvary Chapel Chino Hills with a great speaker Jack Hibbs. Check him out as he speaks about the prophecies in the Bible and how we may be in the last days. I know we are if the radicals dem's get control of our gov't and it's looking as if they may have stolen this election thus far. I'm praying GOD will intervene and save this nation once again.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6'ish rollout to my cup of hot tea while I post this ramble and then spent some quiet moments with my Creator and Lord in humble thanksgiving and lifting several up for comfort and healing in this their hour of need. Most seem to be holding but I know a couple classmates who are suffering terribly and on deaths door. It seems my class of '64 is taking a big hit this year. I'm spared thus far and I'm so grateful I can still run, play and lead a some what normal life style at my age, oh well.

After watching two services I headed out to hand water the seedlings in pots and those just breaking the ground. Radishes and sugar peas are starting to show some color. Since I've been watering the garden  daily I've noticed a few earth worms showing up after the long dry summer. The pole beans are adding leaves as well. The kale seedlings are large enough to move out of 6 packs and into small round container for a week or so before putting them into the ground. I'll need to set up my chicken wire fence as the squirrels have noticed the gardens are now free of the over grown grasses so they can now dig and look for buried acorns, but at the same time digging up my seedlings, oh well. If it's not deer eating down the seedlings at the cabin it's squirrels here in Florida.

We had a nice mountain breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast which held me until late evening except for a handful of peanuts and a glass of vino. We decided to have a salad with chicken strips for our supper after the Tracy's left. They brought down a frozen turkey they wanted to keep in our extra fridge to let it thaw for the next couple days. They stayed for close to an hour and we had a good visit. They seem to be getting excited about having their first grand child in January. Their lives will forever be changed.

I did break down and watched a couple football games during the afternoon and evening. I'm still  not a fan of their politics and radical slogans painted on the end zones, but I do like the game as I played it for 5 years in high school. I hit the showers around 8'ish and turned on the late game in the bedroom and must have fallen asleep some where in the game as I missed seeing 4 touch downs, oh well, LATER

Nancy was in the kitchen most of the afternoon making these Buckeye cookies to give away. She will freeze several batches and then hand them out to neighbors, friends and the postman during that week. I actually ate one which was my first dessert here at home since being back from the cabin. I still have several pounds to go but I've dropped 5 or pounds and its staying off.

Sunday, November 22, 2020

Sunday Morning November 22nd

Well Saturday was another hot day with the a/c running and the skies looked like rain at any moment. There were a few isolated showers around but nothing to amount too much. I'm still hand watering the gardens and the yards and with it a few earthworms are starting show up after the garden areas were basically dry all summer.

I started the day much like every day now that we are back in the flat land of Florida. A 6'ish roll out to my cup of hot green tea while I post this ramble and then my quiet times with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting up several by name as well as our nation and this potus Trump and those who still love America. I'm beginning to wonder how many of us are left to bask in the freedoms and liberties this nation has blessed us with. The politicians in the government have become our worst enemies specially those on the LEFT who now want to change the nation into a socialist country with a consolidation of power to impose their will upon those who still love the constitution which gives us such freedoms.

I headed out to the Rec. for nearly another two hours of pickle ball play. That was 6 days or mornings this week for me and I can feel the change in my body as I get back into shape. I love it. Today Sunday I'll relax some what except for some minor garden chores after worshipping this morning on line. We still haven't opened up the new building for gatherings yet, but I'm hopeful this will occur in the near future. The despicable democrats have not only stolen the election but are now imposing total shut downs of churches which are becoming their worst enemy as well as large family gatherings on holidays. They are quickly becoming a totalitarian group of law makers hoping to destroy the free will of the people and this economy and the vile evil MSM is complicit with their agendas.

We spent the afternoon taking down our Christmas decorations stored in the attic and then put up our tree. We bought an artificial tree last year for the first time in years. We love this tree and it so much easier to maintain and it looks beautiful decorated. I helped with the 9 strings of lights then Nancy took over with her many decorations. We are scaling back this year as we will celebrate two Christmas trees; one here and then another one in the mountains as Bobby's family will arrive the day after Christmas. They will be up for about a week until after New Years. We are hoping for some snow as Annsley and Gabe have never experienced it, oh well.

Well I tuned into some college football for the afternoon and then Amy, Sam and Eliza came by for a short visit before supper. They are full of energy and and excited for the holidays. They will travel out west to visit with family for a couple weeks as we travel to the cabin. We will celebrate Thanksgiving at Bobby's house together with family this coming Thursday and then Nancy wants to do it again on Friday, oh well. I think that is over doing it but you know Nancy as she likes to cook and entertain, LATER

Saturday, November 21, 2020

Saturday Morning November 20th

Well the heat is back after a couple days of decent temps. Its not unbearable but close. I did spend most of the day after pickle ball outside in the yards and gardens. At times I sought the shade of the big oak in the back yard and it felt good.

I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish rollout to my cup of hot tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in humble worship, thanksgiving and lifting up several by name. All seem as well as can be expected due to their ages and health issues. Nancy was off with her sister Betsy shopping and out to lunch. It was good for both of them as Betsy is married to the post office it seems. She keeps threatening to retire as she has her time in but then she would have no excuse to not enjoy life, oh well.

I did two hours of pickle ball with good players and left whupped and with a wet shirt. I can feel the stamina coming back and the play returning to close to its former level. I didn't set down from a loss all morning so that meant I had good partners as well. We change after every set or game to different partners to keep the good play going through out the morning. I'm the oldest on the court now but I love the challenge.

I came back and had the house to myself. I piddled around in the back yard resting while hand watering the gardens and then after a lite lunch I went to work on the side garden which was over grown with weeds and grasses. I got that area ready for sowing carrot seeds as soon as they arrive from Burpee. I did transplant more volunteer tomato seedlings in to 9 packs and if they make I can feed the neighborhood. I'm waiting on some new lettuce seeds as my old ones didn't germinate except for some iceberg seeds. Its just so hot they aren't doing well. The kale seedlings are doing O.K. but again kale, collards and the leafy greens do better with cooler temps. The pole beans are doing as good as can be expected and I'm waiting on the radishes and sugar peas to break ground. Those seeds may be too old as well.

Well we were invited up to the Botbyl's for supper with Patrick and Kathryn. Dan and Carol are in Disney World with their family as the Tracy's are now living in the section of their house they added for Carol's mom before she passed. Kathryn had tacos, refried beans and yellow rice, delicious. Nancy made a nice guacamole to add to the mix. After supper and the cleanup we settled into one game to 750 points of Spades. The guys prevailed again after some good play.

Well it wasn't long after a hot shower I was ready for some horizontal lab as I was whupped from all the physical activity plus the sunshine. We are still praying the fraudulent election will become known to most of America but the MSM is failing to alert the nation because they are complicit with the radical dems in their hatred for this potus who is trying to keep the nation safe from the globalist. The powerful folks who want socialism and globalism are pervasive and have the backing of the corrupt bias media and even the social media with their censorship on Facebook, Twitter and the others. It's despicable and criminal to think their hatred for America is so strong. There were at least 70 million plus who voted for Trump the most ever yet the election is far from over as they used fraudulent methods to secure votes for the less than honest Biden, unbelievable. I'm afraid the Fox News has gone over to the Left and now Tucker who was such an open advocate for justice and honesty has either been threaten or compromised in some way by the Left. He now had abandoned the conservatives, LATER

Friday Morning November 20th

Well Thursday was a might cooler with temps in the upper 50's to start the day. It was a chilly ride out to the Rec around 8 which required an extra shirt but it soon warmed up by 10'ish when I headed home after close to two hours of pickle ball. I'm finally seeing some weight loss and extra stamina from working out every day on the court. I love it.

I started the day with a before 6'ish roll out to my morning routines that start with the hot tea on this chilly morning, some quiet time to honor my Creator and Lord while giving thanks and lifting several up by name. All seem to be holding as of this date. I find that the corruption in this last election is being exposed as too how the dems managed to get so many votes and declare that Biden is the winner when in fact they used a corrupt system to change the vote count and used the illegals mail in ballot which I've said all along are easily corrupted. It seems that is being uncovered as we speak and that criminals hopefully we be held accounted especially those who fabricated this strike on our free and fair elections. All of America is on the brink of losing the constitution if this election stays as its being reported by the criminal MSM outlets.

After close to 2 hours of pickle ball play I pedaled home to work in the garden and yards. I moved some lettuces seedlings into 6 packs in hopes they will survive and give me some fresh greens for the salad bowl. The kale and some tomato plants are starting to show an extra leaf and the pole beans are doing great thus far. It seems I may have two pots of cukes to set out into the ground in a day or so. It started to warm up as the afternoon progressed so Nancy who now can not take the heat after her walk through the 'hood turned the A/C back on. I don't believe it reached 80 for the first in many days with the slight over cast skies. It looked like rain at times. I worked outside pulling this one weed in the front yard which seems to spread over night.

We had a late lunch of a frozen pizza and a salad which held us until nearly 9'ish. We headed out around 5'ish to Ava Mae's school where she was playing in her first game with the JV team which is usually 9th graders. She played this summer with a couple of the older girls and this coach invited her to play on their team and she played awesome. She is on the first team and is going to become a star player with her hustle and great rebounding play. She loves the game and is very tough on the court and is a great assist team player. She made a couple lay up's but mainly she loves to rebound and pass the ball to open team mates.

Well the game was their first win an at one time they were ahead by 20 points. I think they won by 14 at the end of the game. It was going on 8 and Nancy wanted to do shopping at the super Wal-Mart which is in the area of the school. We once again filled up a cart as she gets ready for her Christmas cookie baking and of course Thanksgiving next week with family members. I sure hope the social police don't come by. This attempt by the dems to destroy America is frightening to say the least and I sure pray they pay big time for their anti America attempts to destroy Trump and this economy. They have become the internal enemy along with those who are so blinded by their desire to set this nation back and destroy all that Trump has done to make this nation prosperous and once again a military might to defeat the radicals who chant "death to America". What is wrong with these folks who claim to be Americans?

Well we had a bowl of soup for supper with some crackers as we hate to eat late in the evening any more. What a change from back in the days when I loved to eat late and then dance the night away until midnight. Now it I'm in bed by 10 at the latest usually and our eating habits are at least close to 6 for supper. No more dancing as Nancy isn't a big lover of the activity. I love weddings and parties where the music flows and the dance floor is open. It seems those days too are passing away with time and age, oh well. I'm still above ground and do love to party when it comes my way, life is too short to completely retire to the recliner. Let's all pray the evil will be exposed and that good once again will rule this country and those who perpetuate criminal activity will be held accountable. We can only hope that GOD will once again give this nation another chance to repent and change our ways and that healing will come to the USA. We are the beacon for freedom and liberty in this world, but evil forces have come among our midsts to destroy our culture and heritage and this democrat party is responsible, LATER

Ava Mae is number 14 and played a great game

Thursday Morning November 19th

Well Wednesday was a bit on the chilly side with temps finally down into the upper 50's to start the day. Oh so nice from the hot humid morning of past. There was a stiff a breeze which made it feel even cooler but there was plenty of sunshine to lessen the chill. Later in the evening in Brandon if got down right cold with the stiff breeze causing the 60's to feel in the 50's during Gabe baseball game. By the way they won the championship 16-14 in a nail biter at the end.

I started the day with my 6'ish rollout to a cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in worship, thanksgiving and lifting up several by name for healing and comfort as well as our nation and our Potus Trump and those who are still patriots. It seems we have less of those than once noted with the emergence of the radical leftest within the democrat party who are determined to change our culture and destroy our heritage based on Christian principles found in the Bible. Not only have they abandoned our principles but now some of our political leaders are in collusion with those foreign leaders who want to destroy the nation and set us back to becoming a third world country as they try to steal this election away from the populace. Unbelievable.

I headed out on my bike for the Rec. and got in almost two full hours of pickle ball with some good players. I left with a worn out body and wet shirt to say the least but I can feel my stamina returning with the daily play. I came home and worked in the garden until lunch time. The cool breeze made for good outside working conditions. I spaded up about another 1/4 of the garden and removed this grass which is insidious to say the least. It sends out runners deep within the soil and it also has a nut/seeds which spreads constantly. So aggravating. Next year I'm laying a black visqueen covering over the garden to keep it from multiplying which should help.

I did so a row of radish seeds and moved some volunteer tomato seedlings into a 6 pack container. Hopefully these will make. I also ordered a bunch of seeds on line from Burpee as Home Depot has sent their seeds back for the year, oh well. We had a lunch of salad and then I chilled until it was time to leave for Brandon. The traffic here is unreal with all of the roads congested and the drivers are very rude and wild. Its no wonder I was always busy here with violaters and daily traffic crashes especially as the snow birds head south. It seems everyone is in a hurry to speed up to the next signal, oh well.

Bobby picked up some fried chicken from Publix for our supper and it was delicious to say the least as I grew up on the stuff and we seldom eat it anymore, that along with a kale salad made for some fine eatin'. We got in a couple hours of twin time with boys. They were so happy to see us as were we them. We fed them supper and they can now really put away the chow. They are walking around holding on and Ryder is standing alone more than Huck. They both play well together and just love Annsley and Gabe. We headed out to the ball park as it got dark and the temps dropped. Tyler brought Sam over to watch the game as well. We were ahead all of the game but the other team made a great effort to win in the last inning with bases loaded. Gabe struck out 2 players and they had the go ahead runners on base when the batter hit a soft ball in front of the plate and there was a force out at home, LATER

Wednesday Morning November 18th

Well Tuesday saw us with a little cooler temps, actually it was a nippy ride out to the Rec. at a little before 8. What a change overnight a the air became dry for a change. The temps were finally perfect and it stayed that for most of the day. I took the truck in for service and was stuck inside for the next couple hours as they were working me in between appointments, oh well. The truck was over the milage and needed service which occurs every 5 thousand miles now with this synthetic blend of oil.

I started the day off with a 6'ish roll out to my usual morning routines of a cup of hot green tea while I post this ramble then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in worship, thanksgiving and lifting several up by name. All seem as well as can be expected due to their health issues and ages. I keep praying for divine intervention in this election that Trump will succeed and keep the criminal dems and radicals from gaining power in this fraud election and destroying our nation All of the MSM are promoting Biden as the president elect which is not true. The only network which seems to have conservative views is the Newsmax TV network and they report the actual constitutional truth.

I got in a good hour and half of pickle ball play with mostly all A players except one older gal who is a pain to play with; but its a community Rec. so you have to let her play. She really drags everyones game down but there is nothing you can do. Thankfully she only lasts a couple games of which she actually causes all of her partners to loose, oh well. I headed out around 11'ish for the dealer and it was after 1 before I finally managed to head home. I worked outside in the gardens until supper time as the sun was bright but the temps stayed down into the low 80's. A very pleasant afternoon after such heat and humidity.

I grilled bone in pork chops and they were delicious accompanied by fresh asparagus. After the cleanup we settled into the news and see where there are more findings of ballots that hadn't been counted in several states along with tons of affidavits of persons who encountered voter fraud first hand. Hopefully these will be heard in court and either a new election or the court will decide how much corruption surrounded this fraud election, LATER

Tuesday Morning Nov 17th

Well Monday was a busy day that was still a rather hot one. The humidity had lessen a little but the bright sunshine made it almost too hot to be outside until the late afternoon. I did spent the morning in the gym for a nearly two hours of pickle ball and then around 3'ish I headed out to mow the yards.

I started the day with my usual 6'ish roll out to my cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet moments giving thanks and lifting several up by name to my Lord and Creator for comfort and healing. It seems by classmates of 1964 are dropping like flies and another one has quit her chemo and will succumb to her cancer which has spread. Our Potus Trump and our republic needs prayers as the violent radical dem's are trying to steal this election and are committing unpardonable actions against those who support him. They are Marxists paid for by the corrupt socialist and globalist who want to destroy America as we know it. We need divine intervention to stop them as it seems the democrat party supports their agenda.

I got in some great play and left with a wet shirt a little before 10. I did once again move some of the seedlings that survived the storm last week into larger pots. They were a few collards and some some tomato seedlings since the two store bought ones died or rotted off at the stems. I did sow more seeds in hope they will germinate. The pole beans are doing fine with every hill breaking ground. I did notice a few earthworms have come back since I'm been watering the gardens. They are the key to growing good vegetables. The two hills of cucumbers seem to be thriving in pots so maybe they will make it as well. Neighbor Bobby has honey bee's so that should help with pollination. It's just been so hot I hate to set them out in the ground.

Well Tyler came by and helped to change out the Apple TV to the regular channel box. I never could have figured it out. We are now back to flipping channels as in the old days instead of this very sensitive Apple TV which kept you from channel surfing. I do not why I let myself be talked into purchasing it but I did. I was able to flip back and forth between channels of interest at a whim and of course Nancy was the biggest complainer of the Apple TV. I have a Roku TV in the bedroom for my sports and I do get Newsmax on it. I've lost my interest in Fox as they have gone rouge with liberal pundits except for Tucker, Hannity and Ingle.

Nancy was out shopping for the twins birthday which is happening next month. They will be one year on the 19th. We will celebrate here and then head to the cabin for two weeks as Bobby's family will come up the day after Christmas and we will celebrate with them. Amy's family will head to Kansas for the Christmas vacation. They are still looking for someone to puppy sit their dog, Rocky, Oh well, LATER

Monday Morning..Nov 16th

Well this month is half gone already and Thanksgiving will soon be upon us, or at least we hope so. If the bloody dem's get their way it won't as they are promoting the shut down of the nation which would promote their socialist agenda even further. I'll get back to that at a later time but I started the day on Sunday with a 6 ish roll out to my usual routines of posting this ramble, spending some quiet time to honor my Lord and Creator as well as lift many up by name before checking on the news and giving my two cents worth on social media. Nancy wanted to try a different church this morning as Bridgepoint is still not opening completely except on line and we can view that any time. Bridgepoint still haven't purchased the new building site for Seminole which we visited last week.

I picked Dan and Carol as they put the bug in Nancy's ear about visiting this church called Generation. It's not far from the house. Well its modeled on our church with parking attendants, an open area with coffee, tea, etc and then into the worship center with a raised stage. The music was so loud it vibrated the over head lights and was quite a distraction. It was a fund raiser day for those who regularly attend so there wasn't much of a message but what we did hear wasn't to our satisfaction. It was about today's kingdom in their realm and not of GOD's message to us through the gospel. We were all in agreement this type of worship didn't give up the message of repentance and then salvation for those who needed Jesus in their daily life, especially with all of the signs we are seeing in the world today. We were totally turned off by their message of wanting funds to expand their building fund, and their college scholarships. Oh well.

Our old campus pastor is leaving our church and going into counseling due to all this covid issue of shutting down our campus forever which was held at the local college facility. He will be greatly missed but he and his family will stay in the area. After the service which was more like a concert at times we headed to Sam's Club which was just down the road for an item for Amy and to gas up at 1.74. We then stopped at Culver's for a lite lunch before heading home. Carol had invited up later in the evening to help clean up some leftovers from a few days ago when we had a large dinner gathering at her house, so we ate lite.

I broke down after hand watering the garden and watched the NFL. The Bucs were playing their old league opponents, the Panthers in Charlotte and once again we came out victorious. I did notice while watering the gardens the pole bean seeds at sowed on Wednesday had broken ground and were showing some color. The transplanted seedlings aren't looking too great except for the curly leaf kale which looks hearty. Its still so dad gum hot here I'm surprised anything is growing.

Well its back to Brandon on Wednesday afternoon for Gabe's 6:30 championship game and then we will have some twin time as well, LATER

Sunday Morning Nov 15th

Well folks it still feels like summer here in sunny, hot, humid Florida. After feeling the cold and seeing ice and their affects of the change in seasons in the mountains of the Carolinas, I'm ready for at least some 70's maybe even some 60's if we are to get lucky. Dad gum its hot here and Saturday was no exception as we traveled to Brandon to watch grandson Gabe play his best game ever. More on that later in this ramble.

I started the day with now a 6'ish roll out to my morning routines which I'm finally getting back into. I do this blog, spent so quiet time with my Lord and Creator and then catch up on world and social events. I sure missed the mountain morning routines but I'm acclimating to back to the flatland and nothing outside to look at while posting this ramble. Oh well we are blessed to be able to look forward to the changes each year.

We were leaving sometime after 8 to make the 9 AM game and had to pick up Ava so she could spend the day with Annsley as Sam had soccer plus Gabe was playing the game so we just took Ava Mae with us. We got there in the second innings and Gabe team was losing so they put him on the mound and he went to work striking out 8 players, hitting two triples and made several plays to first from ground balls. His team won convincingly. Bobby had the whole team plus siblings and parents over to his house/pool as the season's ending game, except now they go to the championship game on Wednesday evening.

We had such a grand time watching and rooting the team on and then we helped with watching the boys and the team party as the pool area and back yard was perfect for a huge social event. After the team left we helped cleanup and then got ready for the birthday celebration we were having for Annsley and Gabe. Nancy had pre-made the dinner they requested which was spaghetti and meat balls, salad, garlic bread and ice cream sundaes. I skipped the bread and sundaes but the rest was delicious. Amy's family game as well as Austin family so there was a houseful of relatives and we had such a fun time playing with the boys. Katie's folks were replacing their leather couches so they gave them to Amy and Tyler so we headed over to their house and loaded them onto Tyler and my trucks. We brought them back and unloaded them into their house. Our old couches are still in decent shape except the leather fades when getting wet so they traded them out for better non fading leather.

I was worn out by 9'ish so I hit the shower and was soon watching the news on Newsmax which has taken the place in our house of the now liberal loving Fox News station. They have gone over to the CNN and MSNBC type of making up the news to support their liberal bias and the corrupt democrat party. Our duly elected Potus Trump is still holding onto the hope the fraudulent election by the dem's will be exposed as to voter fraud and violations in the counting rooms where no repub's were allowed to watch the process. It's all an attempt to take Trump out and replace him with the socialist dems and the radicals who are destroying the nation and cantering to our enemies for cash. I'm still hopeful since no one has acquired the needed votes to be declared a winner, that the results will send it to the courts. We need divine intervention once again as we had to defeat the crooked Hillary in 2016.

That was about it as we will try a new church this day against my desires as Nancy is influenced by our friends decision to give up on Bridgepoint, oh well, LATER

Ryder fell asleep at the game. Huck loves books and we had such a grand time on loving up on them all day long. They seldom if ever cry and are mostly content unless hungry and then they don't fuss. We just love being with them and they are growing so fast and are so smart. They are walking holding on but do scoot around quickly on their hands and knees.

Saturday Morning Nov 14th

Well Friday was another hot muggy day with plenty of sunshine. The humidity was almost unbearable after being in the mountains for 5 months. I did get in a good work out at the Rec. on the pickle ball court for an hour plus before hanging it up as I had yard work to do. The yards are still draining from the big storm that left it under water.

I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish rollout to my routines of hot tea while I posted this ramble, quiet times with my Creator and Lord lifting up several by name and praying for our nation that we do not succumb to the radical socialist who are attempting to steal this election and turn our nation into a third world country. Never in my lifetime would I ever think we patriots who love GOD, family and our constitution would be faced with such radicals in the gov't who want to destroy our culture and heritage. I'm hoping they are doing this with voter fraud because if this many Americans voted them into office the nation is sunk and destroyed for all times.

I had good play on the courts as my game has come back to where it was when playing every day. I did notice my stamina is not there yet, before I headed off to the mountains, but will return in the coming days when I play every day and drop these extra pounds. I'm eating less and trying to stay away from the sugar and carbs as much as possible. We went out to dinner to the Bonefish Grille in Largo last evening with the Botbyl's and Tracy's and had a delicious supper. The place was not nearly as busy as they once were and the servers are hurting with reduced customers. I had the corn chowder with crab meat and bang bang shrimp. Everyone else had salmon, steaks and salads. I did eat most of the small loaf of bread with my chowder but stayed away from the other carbs.

I potted up several dozen of the seedlings that nearly got washed away during the big storm. I'm not sure if they will make but we will see. Some of them look rather bad but I potted them anyhow with some Black Cow dirt and gave them a side dressing of Miracle Grow. Hopefully enough will made for the salad bowl in a couple weeks. The two large tomato plants I purchased died but I did sow some old tomato seeds and they are up, so just maybe we will have some fruit after all.

Today Saturday we head over to Brandon for Gabe's game and then a birthday party and dinner for Annsley and Gabriel. Nancy made what they desired for this occasion with; meatballs, spaghetti, salad and then banana splits for desserts. The Ross and Everette Families will join in with the celebration as well. This should be a raucous occasion as well with kids everywhere; 9 all together counting the twins, LATER

Friday Morning Nov 13th

Well I started the day picking up lots of downed limbs from the back yard oak tree which filled two large trash cans and then straightening up part of the back yard fence. It needs replacing but I wasn't quite ready to tackle that event as its so hot and humid. I propped it up for now and hope to set a post in place to hold it until I and the neighbor decide if his home owners insurance will contribute anything to the project. He is a renter so if not I'll fund the project as its needs replacing.

I did ride out out to the REC. on my bike after my morning routines of hot tea, quiet times and the posting of this ramble but it was closed up. I noticed the windows were fogged up so they had power but many in our 'hood had none. The home generators were running most of the day until power was restored for many just before dark. We were fortunate to keep the lights on as well as the a/c as it got rather warm in the afternoon.

I drove Nancy up to Meese Countryside Medical Center for her yearly check up on her enlarged thyroid. It seems to be holding steady without any change so she is good for another year, thankfully. We made a stop at the Bardmoor Plaza for Publix which seems we can never go anywhere without stopping at one on the way home. Both fridges and the pantry's are full to capacity after being back from the cabin in just over a week. Amy and kids were off from school due to the overnight storm so they and the puppy Rocky all came for lunch. It was good to see all.

I didn't do anything outside the rest of the day as we did have some more rain showers off and on throughout the evening. It was miserably hot and humid during the day and I'm hoping to get back on the court this AM for a workout and then transplant some seedlings that did survive the storm. I want to move them up in to 6 pack containers before settings them out into the main garden.

I'm still hoping the election will turn in Trump favor as many ballots are now being seen as illegal in many states. The fraud is pervasive especially in Michigan, Pennsylvania and now Georgia which were the so called battle ground states. It's amazing the dems want him to concede when they know full well they corrupted this election using the covid excuse to use mail in ballots with no verification; thus they flooded the states, enlisted the illegals and dead folks to fill them out and vote for Biden. It's hilarious if it wasn't so corrupt an attempt to steal this election away from Trump, LATER

This is Rocky a bull mastif belonging to the Ross Family. He is roughly 3 months old and going to be a large dog.

Thursday Morning November 12th

Well Wednesday was one of the wettest days with strong winds we've seen here in Florida in years. Hurricane Eta came through and luckily she had down graded to a tropical storm because the damage would have been awful. The rain blew sideways and at times I thought the roof was going to go but it held thankfully and thus far saw no leaks. The gutters spilled over onto the bump out window seat which ran like a river but no water inside. I did try to clean them out during a moment when the rain ceased somewhat but to no avail as the wind and rain were just too much for the gutter.

It was the only time I ventured out during the day as the wind and rain never stopped. We could feel the strength of the feeder bands of the storm at times as it reached land. Noises on the roof area where branches and what ever struck during the evening hours was freaky which lasted for hours as the slow moving storm made land fall. The streets were like a river as the yards drained into it. It has now moved inward and northward across the state. There are streets and subdivisions flooded and the neighbors behind and next to us are with out power as their transformer made a loud bang around 8'ish. Luckily our power stayed on except for a couple of flickers through out the evening.

It's been awhile since anything like this storm has struck the west coast of Florida and it was down graded to a storm but still had wind gusts of 70 mph. Yikes. Its been a year of rain for us as we had so much this summer and fall in the mountains and now here in Florida. We needed rain but just not delivered with high winds and so much at one time. I'm sure all of my seedlings have drowned or been washed out but thats a small price to pay when your house could have been destroyed by this storm.

There really isn't much to write about except our morning routines, quiet times and what we ate for the day. All seem well with our families and all are safe from the storm. Of course Gabe's game was rained out so we didn't make the trip to Brandon and since it was Veteran's Day the Rec. was closed. I got lots of well wishes from friends regarding my 7 years in the USAF during the Viet Nam era. A few of my flying buddies are still kicking but many have passed due to issues from that era and the cargo we carried as well as to what we were exposed to on the ground. That was over 50 + years ago when I volunteered for the USAF in 1966. I was 19 when I enlisted in March of that year and gave it no thought as to the dangers I would encounter throughout my 7 years of flying into a war zone. What an experience to say the least as I along with many young men and women gave our lives for this country. So many names on the Wall in D.C. who made that ultimate sacrifice and yet today we have youths who are so privileged and spoilt they want to burn, loot and maim those of us who gave them the right to do so, Unbelievable, LATER

Wednesday Morning Nov 11th..Veterans Day

Well Tuesday was another hot and muggy day but the morning was pleasant as I rode out to the Rec. on my bike for a good workout on the pickle ball court. That was my second day in a row to play and I feel it in my muscles. I started the day with now my usual 6'ish roll out to my morning routines that start with the cup of hot green tea, quiet times to honor my Creator and Lord and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing as well as our nation. I pray that we will expose the corruption in this past election because to use illegal ballots to steal an election undermines our republic for free and fair elections. The dem's have used awful methods for 4 years to destroy, undermine and create havoc for our duly elected Trump who has had done nothing but put Americans first against the globalist who want to destroy our culture and way of life.

I played pickle ball for close to 2 hours and was whupped leaving with a wet shirt. I rode my bike over to my barber shop which is just a mile or so away and had my ears lowered. It was great to get a decent cut for a change and to see Patti who has been cutting my hair since I retired. The state has put many restrictions on barbers as they are close up to their customers. I had to wait outside until one left before entering the shop, oh well.

We had a salad for lunch when Nancy got back from her errands. I noticed I'm down another few ounces on my way to 180 which is within a few pounds already. I know the extra exercise has helped but eating less and then sweating in this heat and humidity is making a difference as well. I caught up on some computer readings then headed out into the back yard mulching up all of the dried grasses in the garden with the lawn mower. I noticed several seedlings pushing through the ground and will soon be large enough to transplant into 6 packs. I did sow some pole beans along the side fence and then pulled some weeds in the back yard that was choking out the grass.

Well I finally found Newsmax TV on my roku tv and will ditch Fox except for Tucker and Hannity. Fox has become a liberal show much like the criminal MSM networks who love the dems and their agenda while hating our potus Trump. Never have I ever seen such biased hate filled newscasters as I've seen with the MSM networks. They have become the real enemy of this nation and its down right despicable to say the least. They will get nothing from me with those who advertise on their stations.

We will head over to Brandon once again this afternoon for an evening ball game with Bobby and Gabe. I think this is their last game until the play offs. I sure hope they play better than last game, LATER

Tuesday Morning Nov 10th

Well Monday found me up at 6'ish and once again getting back into my normal morning routines; a cup of hot green tea, quiet times to honor my Creator and lift up several by name and then my usual comments on social medias about the times and whats happening today. I'm disappointed the election or at least the illegality of it isn't making head lines, because America is at a turning point if these two who were called by the criminal MSM as winners take control of the gov't. Some of my dearest friends and family members applaud this event but I'm totally discouraged by the outcome presented to us by media which is throughly and blatantly biased against a man who put America first. We shall see if their predictions hold up and what will become of our nation.

I headed out on my bike a little before 8 to the REC for close to two hours of pickle ball. We had several nice players and I got in a good workout. I'm mostly back in form as my play had me with several wins throughout the morning. We are in the gym which is quite different than outside play but the skill level is rather constant with very little outside elements such as the wind, sun, etc which does affect outside play. I'm going back again this morning for play as we have a rather good group of players and the workout is good enough to leave with a wet shirt. I do miss the 20 minute cardio workout on the backwoods hike up the steep trail behind the cabin.

The weather was cloudy and occasionally rain showers which are needed but unlike south Florida where this storm dumped over a foot of rain with flooding. I headed out a little after lunch for the VA once again for my annual eye checkup. They gave me a through examination with many new tests and procedures and I'm on the border with glaucoma. So far its a slow progression as I've been there now for a couple years. My eyesight is rather good which doesn't require any glasses except to read when there isn't enough light. I'm thrilled they do such a great exam. I do feel the eye vitamins called Preser Vision has helped immensely with maintaining good sight at my age.

When I left the VA a storm struck the area with severe winds and rain so heavy you could barely navigate the way home. It seems this storm is part of the hurricane now in the Gulf and is churning away towards the panhandle of Florida. I checked he garden and while the heavy rain was south of us we did get enough too wet the ground. The new seedlings are still doing well except the one tomato plant which I'm not sure caused it to wilt. Maybe it will come back but I did noticed a seeding from some old seeds had broke ground, so I may have some tomato plants after all. I'm disappointed the lettuce seedlings haven't germinated and may not as they are a year old or more.

Nancy pan seared a nice rib eye we brought back from the cabin and along with a butternut squash we feasted at suppertime. I'm still down a pound or two but have at least 10 to go before I reach my 180 goal or at least reduce the spare tire. I fine it more difficult on the latter, LATER

Monday Morning Nov 9th

Well Sunday was an awesome day of worship with our life group at the Nymark's beautiful and spacious home. They are such generous God loving folks and we have grown to love them dearly ; as a matter of fact they will become our neighbors in the mountain after purchasing land just down the driveway from us. There were probably 40 plus folks there throughout the mornings some came for worship via telecast and some came to honor Scotty and Amy our campus pastor and wife who are leaving the church for the mission field. They have been such great leaders and mentors for the past 4 years; but we have great news despite the Covid shutting down the college and thus our church where we met on Sundays using their facilities.

The great news is we have found a church facility that is selling their beautiful buildings and nearly 5 acres in the heart of Seminole for a very reasonable price. We had a meeting there last night and checked out the place and it will fit our needs and is on a major 4 lane highway. Unbelievable and of course most all of us are thrilled about the building and the possibility of having a full service church i.e. classes for youths, kitchen, etc. and of course that would mean no setting up each week which is a big plus in getting volunteers at 5'ish to do this weekly chore.

We ate a breakfast that everyone brought to share just before the 9 Am service started and then stayed around for some finger food to honor Scotty and his 4 years as our campus pastor. It was going on 1 PM before we got back to the house and chilled for a couple hours. I hand watered the gardens and the new seedlings. One large tomato plant isn't doing well and I'm perplexed as to why but the rest are doing fine as of now. We are in for some windy weather and rain from this hopefully last storm of the season as it makes its way up through Florida this week. I believe its will be a a tropical storm instead of a full fledged hurricane. We could actually use some rain.

Betsy and Gus came by for a couple hours to pick up the last of the several dozen cookies Nancy made for the shower on Saturday. I managed to NOT eat one of my fav's oatmeal with raisins and it was hard to do. I'm down a couple pounds from the 15 pounds I gained this summer. I'm trying to cut back on my food amount and of course the sugars.

I'm pumped about the chance to purchase this building for Bridgepoint but of course there are always naysayers in the crowd so we will just let them go their way, but as for me I'm in on the purchase. Its a beautiful facility with plenty of parking and a couple extra buildings; one is already in use for some special needs kids and of course they have parents which need to hear the gospel. If all of our regular attendees come back we will have a full building in no time as we were regularly having around 400 between both services on Sundays. Now we can have weekly classes and events.

I tuned into the Bucs vs Saints game in Tampa and it was a blow out for the Saints in the first half. I decided to hit the sack instead of watching such a poor performance by the Bucs despite Brady at QB. The defense was horrible and Brees was on the mark with his passes, LATER

Sunday Morning Nov 8th

Well I made a late post last evening so there isn't much too say except after getting back home I attempted to watch Fox News an I was totally blown away with their biased coverage of the now Biden/harris supposedly win in the election. It was so disgusting and so liberal supporting it actually kept me awake for most of the night to think this supposedly conservative news station fell into the camp of those who hate GOD, babies, police and military and our capitalist system and know with out a doubt those illegal mail in ballots are just that. I honestly believe the dem's were behind the virus that sent this nation into a lock down so as to have certain blue states institute these mail in's so they could steal this election away from Trump and to cover up the crimes committed by Hillary, Obama and now the Bidens. This just makes me sick, almost as bad when I saw the second plane hit the buildings in New York during 9-11. Say what you want but I'm not a kool aid drinkers and I've always worked for what I got. I have served the folks of this nation for the biggest part of my life, either in the military or as a police officer and never have I ever seen such hate in this nation for a man who has nothing but love and concern for the country. There is no doubt he has faults but let me the first to say go ahead and throw the first stone if your lily white. I pray that GOD's will be done. I only fear for my children and grand children future when I see the violence unleashed by these who are sycophants of the criminal MSM and those leftest Marxist, LATER

Saturday Evening Nov 7th

Well we just got back from an overnight stay in Brandon with son Bobby and family. We left around 3 ish Friday evening after a busy Friday. First I'm back with my usual morning routines that start with a 6'ish roll out to my cup of green tea while I post this ramble then spent some quiet times with my Creator lifting several for healing and comfort. I now need some comforting after hearing the dems have used unlawful mail in ballots to steal this election from our potus Trump. It's disgraceful and we are praying that GOD will intervene as well as the courts to seek justice for the corrupt and rightfully reinstate Trump for another 4 years. I know several who voted for Biden and thats their right but I'm totally ashamed of their hatred for this potus whose polices have helped our nation become secure again and who attempted to drain the swamp in the gov't of the corruption that has permeated all parties especially the democrats.

I headed out a little before 8 for a workout on the pickle ball court and got in 6 or 7 games for over an hour of continuous play, winning each game. It felt good to be back on the court. I piddled around catching up on a couple more small jobs before heading to the VA at Bay Pines for a vascular ultrasound to check on the left leg that had a prior blood clot or the start of one from using the drug prednisone when I had my back issues last June. Seems the blood flow is good around the old formation and I'm having no ill effects without using a blood thinner. I stopped at Wal-Mart for some coffee for Nancy who only uses one they are constantly running out of.

We got to Bobby's just as the boys were getting home from day care and they were thrilled to see us. We had a grand time playing with them and a delicious spaghetti dinner for supper. Bobby is just a grand cook to say the least. We stayed the night in their in law's room which is a converted room off the garage and its perfect for us. I actually slept very well for a change. We headed out Saturday morning for the ball park which is just minutes down the road and watched Gabe play a great game with awesome pitching for a couple innings, great hits and then a spectacular catch but his team mate were not on the same page with lots of errors and they lost after coming back from being down 8 runs.

The afternoon was a baby shower for one of Katie dearest friends. Nancy made 3 different kinds of cookies and helped setting up the shower with Kathryn and Katie. There were probably 30 or more folks in attendance and the food and drink were plentiful. I had a big lunch and didn't partake of the food but did bring some barbecue home for later. We got back close to 8'ish, LATER
