Saturday Morning Nov 14th

Well Friday was another hot muggy day with plenty of sunshine. The humidity was almost unbearable after being in the mountains for 5 months. I did get in a good work out at the Rec. on the pickle ball court for an hour plus before hanging it up as I had yard work to do. The yards are still draining from the big storm that left it under water.

I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish rollout to my routines of hot tea while I posted this ramble, quiet times with my Creator and Lord lifting up several by name and praying for our nation that we do not succumb to the radical socialist who are attempting to steal this election and turn our nation into a third world country. Never in my lifetime would I ever think we patriots who love GOD, family and our constitution would be faced with such radicals in the gov't who want to destroy our culture and heritage. I'm hoping they are doing this with voter fraud because if this many Americans voted them into office the nation is sunk and destroyed for all times.

I had good play on the courts as my game has come back to where it was when playing every day. I did notice my stamina is not there yet, before I headed off to the mountains, but will return in the coming days when I play every day and drop these extra pounds. I'm eating less and trying to stay away from the sugar and carbs as much as possible. We went out to dinner to the Bonefish Grille in Largo last evening with the Botbyl's and Tracy's and had a delicious supper. The place was not nearly as busy as they once were and the servers are hurting with reduced customers. I had the corn chowder with crab meat and bang bang shrimp. Everyone else had salmon, steaks and salads. I did eat most of the small loaf of bread with my chowder but stayed away from the other carbs.

I potted up several dozen of the seedlings that nearly got washed away during the big storm. I'm not sure if they will make but we will see. Some of them look rather bad but I potted them anyhow with some Black Cow dirt and gave them a side dressing of Miracle Grow. Hopefully enough will made for the salad bowl in a couple weeks. The two large tomato plants I purchased died but I did sow some old tomato seeds and they are up, so just maybe we will have some fruit after all.

Today Saturday we head over to Brandon for Gabe's game and then a birthday party and dinner for Annsley and Gabriel. Nancy made what they desired for this occasion with; meatballs, spaghetti, salad and then banana splits for desserts. The Ross and Everette Families will join in with the celebration as well. This should be a raucous occasion as well with kids everywhere; 9 all together counting the twins, LATER

At the Bonefish Grille with the Botbyl's and the Tracy's. Hard to believe I'm the old man in the group at 74 with these young whippersnappers.
