Well it was a chilly morning to start Sunday off as I headed out a little after 5 to the college on my bike for the load in for BridgePoint Church. It did eventually warm up to the low 70's by the middle of the afternoon but the stiff breeze made it feel even colder. Nancy and I worked a service each she in the cafe and me as the door greeter for both services but did set in on the message during the 9 AM service.
After the 10:30 service we helped with the breakdown and the load out but was home by 12:30. We decided to eat some leftovers of which we had plenty from the family dinners this week. I had mentioned to some of the PB players about playing Sunday afternoon as we now have access to a net and we did play for a couple hours despite the muscle in the scapula area still somewhat aching at times. I'm icing it and applying Bio-freeze from time to time and that is making it tolerable; but I just can not sit still and not use the muscle, oh well. We had a great turnout on this chilly morning at church and it was great to be back after missing worshipping with such a grand group of folks. It makes a difference to be in house with Jesus loving folks.
Nancy was off shopping after lunch while I headed to the Rec. to play pickle ball. I did hand water the gardens and once more gave away another nice mess of collard greens. The lettuces are ready for harvesting as are the sugar peas and beets. The radishes are almost ready for pulling as well as are the egg plants. I'm really disappointed in the tomato's as the plants are over my head in height but very little fruit set, oh well. After a supper of leftovers we settled in to the Nascar race and then I watched the XFL in my man cave until shower time around 9. Since it was an early morning I soon fell asleep watching the game after the hot shower and rub down on the muscle, LATER
