Well Saturday was awesome day which started with temps in the upper 30's and once again this morning. Our resident hostess just filled our bellies with an unbelievable breakfast that started with fresh fruit and yogurt, bacon, eggs and pancakes. Yeow what a feed and now we are getting ready to head out through the 'hood to walk on the golf course next door. The sun is shining brightly. We will do our quiet times and listen to our worship service via the internet.
Yesterday we had a lite breakfast of homemade granola bars and yogurt before a morning walk and then we headed over to a local vegetable stand for fresh corn and some other veggies for supper. We got over to Eric's around 11'ish and then spent the day except for a trip to a local apple orchard where we picked apples after riding a trailer pulled by a tractor out into the orchard. We did eat a little dust from the pulling tractor. We also purchased homemade donuts, apple cider and kettle corn to share.
We got back to Eric's and had some vino as we ate grilled chicken, corn on the cob, Asian salad and homemade bread yeow what a feed we had with several others through out the evening. It was close to 11 before we headed back to the house. We had a good visit with GG throughout the day as she was pampered by Arianne and Nancy. We are pleasantly surprised at how well she is doing and adjusting to the new surrounding while being cared for by Eric and Dianne.
Well we have had a marvelous experience with Christina and her home. She let us have the run of the house and we have enjoyed her two kitty cats as well. We awakened to smell of bacon coming up the steps. I haven't slept in this late in years as it was close to 8 before I rolled out. We will head to Virginia early in the morning(MON) to visit with paw Paw and then down to Woodstock to visit sister Dee while Mike has his knee surgery tomorrow, LATER
