Well Sunday was an awesome day of worship with our BridgePoint Church Family at the Rec. in Seminole. We are now in our 4 month with this campus plant and we are thriving with new families each week as well as many returnees who have made us their home church. We want to have 10 campus's throughout Pinellas County as there are over a million folks who live here and many have no knowledge of GOD or any relationship with his teachings or with other Believers.
We actually worked both services greeting and handing out programs but I was able to sit in on the first service and heard a great message on Joseph in the Old Testament as the theme for the past several weeks have been Old School. We have much to learn from this story and how GOD used him despite his pitfalls in life. GOD has a plan and He only wants whats best or good for each of us. It was nearly 12:30 when we got home and had a light lunch of bean burritos and guacamole. Afterwards I settled into the Rays game and once more they came from behind to win the game and the series from the league leading Red Sox. Most of the teams are off as the All Star game is this week and everyone gets a break. It's hard to believe the season is half over.
The update on GG is promising as they moved her to a private room and out of ICU. Arianne spent the afternoon and evening with her and she was able to suck on some ice and we are hoping she will pass the swallow test today so they can take the feeding tube out and then we are hoping the drain tubes will go next as well and then she will be a candidate for travel back here to our area. She really misses being home but if all goes well that may occur sooner than later. It will be so much easier for us if she is back in our county.
Well we are getting ready to head out this afternoon for Miami once again for a couple of days. We hope if all goes well to leave for the cabin on Thursday to get ready for Bobby and family next week as they are on vacation. There is much to be done before they arrive but that all depends on how GG does on getting better and hopefully out of Miami, LATER
