Monday Morning

Well Sunday was a great day of worship at Bridgepoint as we rode with our friends and neighbors Dan and Carol and along with about 7-800 other folks in the 10 o'clock service heard a super sermon on excuses we use to not share the gospel message with non believers. Pastor Tim Whipple is such a great speaker and you don't want the hour or so to be over. If anyone is interested in hearing his messages check out Bridgepoint Church.com in St.Petersburg, Florida.

We started the morning with a roll out around 6'ish and I did my routines of a handful of supplements washed down with a hot cup of green tea laced with turmeric. I thought surely after all of the badminton on Saturday the knee would be sore but the use of turmeric has certainly made a difference with that problem left knee. I spent a few quiet moments in prayer for my family, friends and my country for some new leadership that will once again honor our Judeo-Christian principles and make us safe from those who want to destroy our culture and way of life. This election in Nov. will be the turning point in my lifetime for how we fare as a nation of free people without government interfering into every aspect of our lives and if we remain a nation that honors individual liberties. I pray that GOD will be honored as well as our anthem that once was so revered within our culture. We have let both of them be trampled upon and disrespected that it causes me to shutter at what next will be destroyed and smeared. I fear for my grand children and the life they will be subjected to all in the name multiculturalism. We had better wake up to the corruption within this administration and the elitism that has taken over in our governing bodies.

We stopped at new eatery in the new Seminole Mall that is being built in our hood. It was called Apollo Tropical or something to that effect. It's a fast food place that specializes in chicken, salads and wholesome foods and sauces. I had the Caesar chicken salad and it was delicious at a reasonable price. We caught up with Dan and Carol on all that's going on with our families then headed home to get ready for all of our families for more birthday dinners. We had a house full and I grilled marinated chicken breasts, a long with baked taters and a fresh garden salad with rolls and a huge blackberry/blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Wow what a feed. We watched the Bucs blow a half time lead to the Rams. All of Bobby's family along with the Ross family, GG and Betsy came as well. There were thirteen of us and it was a fun filled time with great eating.

Well we have one more week to go and I'm sure going to miss all of these who were here today but not the heat and humidity, LATER
