Tuesday morning

Well Monday was a mixed bag of weather. It was chilly to start with overcast skies and a breeze and then it warmed up and we saw the sun peaking at times but the wind never really ceased which had you feeling the chill at times. We finally opened the windows and doors to get the warm breeze and then we took off on a hike through the 'hood which really warmed us up.

The day started much the usual except I slept in until nearly 7 o'clock for a change. I'm not sure why after waking around 5 ish I decided to stay in the flannel sheets but it worked and I dozed back off. I finally got around to my quiet time and usual routines. Afterwards it looked like rain but I still headed out to hand water the newest seedlings, of course it never rained after all. We weren't doing anything except watching the Ross Kiddos while Amy grocery shopped after lunch. We finished up the deli meat and some leftovers for lunch then we watched such energy among the three of them. I was tired just watching them interact with each other. Eliza Faye was right in there with them as she now considers herself one of the gang. She is so funny.

After they took off for home we got in a nice hike as the Rec. was closed for this holiday. It had warmed up considerably but a long sleeve shirt or light jacket was needed against the wind. We walked a couple miles then headed back to piddle around outside in the garden. I watered a little more despite the fore cast of rain but we never received any until sometime in the wee morning hours of today. We had venison burgers for supper and wow were they ever so great. Instead of doing them on the grill we found that pan frying them in a little olive oil was the best ever. They were juicy and oh so delicious. We finished up some tater tots to accompany the burgers.

Well after the clean up we settled into the Fox News channel and now we are getting a little tired of all the personal attacks that Donald is being famous for. We like his message on the inept administration and the corrupt broken system with the established politicians but we are starting to get fed up with the personal attacks by all and especially by Donald. We need to fix the system with plans on how to do it and attack the message not the messenger, especially the ideology of socialism being touted with the democrat front runner, LATER
