Friday Morning--1st day of May

Well Thursday was a rather busy day that started with a before 6 roll out. After my usual routines and a few quiet moments to give thanks, reflect on life's adventures and to lift up those I know and love and who may need some divine intervention I got ready to ride out to the rec on my bike. We had 2 courts in action with mainly A players and the action was constant. I had a soaked shirt by 10 and was pleasantly whipped. After a quick stop at the library I headed home to piddle around outside in the garden and yard. The temp's seemed to have dropped considerably with the humidity leaving the area as well. My new seedlings are growing and as of right now I should have plenty of 2 different types of tomato plants for transplanting at the cabin as well as beets, kale and a couple jalapeno peppers plus some Rosemary and Thyme.

The molars which were prepped for two crowns seem to have settled down after what started out with some very uncomfortable pain and sensations the day of the procedures. I got off all pain meds to make sure I wasn't masking any problems that may occur with these two molars. So far so good. Amy, GG and the kiddos came for lunch and then I headed out shortly thereafter for my annual checkup at the VA with a new doctor. This doctor's parents are from India and while her looks are typical from that country she is totally Americanized. She diagnosed my pain in the left shoulder as bursitis as has set me up for a procedure for an injection into the bursae sack. All of my blood and urine results were good and she seemed totally satisfied with my vitals and the fact I was on no prescribed medications for my age. It was a good visit with her and she seemed to care about my needs and health concerns.

Nancy was off with her mother shopping and when she got home I grilled some sockeye salmon fillets to accompany some fresh broccoli for supper . Wow this is the best salmon ever as its wild caught from Alaska. There wasn't any local sports on the TV so we settled into the Fox News channel until it was shower time and then lights out for me. We are watching all three Ross kiddo's tonight as Amy and Tyler have a date night. I will grill chicken legs for them as per Sam's requests. I can now start counting the days until we hopefully leave for the high country at 27, LATER
